What customers say

This adults-only spot's lauded for its super clean facilities, roomy, flat spots, and legendarily friendly owners. Communal areas are a hit, with useful stuff everywhere. Peace and quiet, plus a top location for exploring, are big pluses. Mostly brill reviews, just a bit of road noise for some, and wish there were more showers during busy spells.

Powered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked The facilities were very clean and tidy. There was a microwave & toaster provided for general use. You can buy eggs, milk, coffee & tea. There are even freezer bags provided to put your food in in the communal fridge/freezer. Several bottles of washing up liquid were provided, together with washing up bowls, cloths & sponges. You can also hire a variety of firepits, BBQs and chimineas or a washing line and you can buy firewood on site. The owner was very friendly and gave me a tour of the site.

Disliked The shower wasn't very powerful. The weather was pretty dire, when I stayed unfortunately, strong winds and torrential rain. I only stayed 2 nights instead of the 4 that I'd paid for as I couldn't sleep with the awful weather & decided to stay in my friends' caravan instead.

Liked Everything you would need is on site with some extras you wouldn’t expect. Loads of nice touches eg toaster, ice machine, freezer, fridge, communal area etc list goes on. Definitely the most well equipped site and cleanest we have been on.

Powered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked Leigh and his wife was so good making sure everything was ok on your arrival and showed you to your pitch
One of the first things after setting up the tent they told us the wifi code s which never drops out
Each day Leigh would come round check that everything was ok and have a general chat
Could not ask for better hosts
As for the camping area it is well looked after and as for the toilet and showers you could not ask for better extremely clean and tidy only wish I could have taken them home with me lol
Also where you wash your pots it’s extra clean and there’s a fridge freezer that’s dispensers ice there’s a kettle and even toaster and free range eggs
You can get charcoal and wood from the owners with a little cost and stoves
Over all will highly recommend and really appreciate the paddocks campsite
We will return thanks again big mark
