- Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed on site.
- Bookings must not be for more than 21 consecutive nights.
- Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
- Units longer than 8 metres are not allowed.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.
- Tents and units with awnings are allowed on the grass pitches for maximum 7 nights. 'Stealth' campervans are not allowed on-site: commercial vehicles must be fully converted to campervan and have side and rear windows.

Liked The cleanest ablutions block we have ever come across!! Great stay with large grass pitch. The Bothy even had a pool table, board games etc for rainy days. Well situated for access to nice walks & National Trust venues. Will definitely return.

Liked A beautiful, efficiently-run campsite with excellent, clean facilities. Even though we were aware of being close to the A30, just going through a gate almost opposite our pitch we were immediately in the countryside.
The pitches are nice and spacious, while everything needed on-site is in easy reach. We really enjoyed watching some goldcrests flitting in and out of the tree opposite our tent, feeding their young in the nest. The site is also perfect for some good walks with lovely views, though very hilly! Thank you.

Nice quiet site with great facilities at a very good price

Liked This site is a must when travelling down towards or back from Cornwall. We used it as a stop over site before we headed off back down to Portsmouth.
The site is very clean and the amenities are very clean and well serviced.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
We we offered two alternative pitches as our allocated one was on an incline, sloping in both directions. We stayed with the allocated one as it was a nice quiet spot.
We will definitely use this site on our next visit west.
Disliked The WiFi was a bit laggy and buffered mid evening, Probably caused by so many people logging on. It was free so nothing to moan about.

Liked The site was very welcoming as soon as we arrived at reception and checked in. Plenty of information offered regarding the site both in advance and on arrival.
All the pitches had good space for setting up.
Very clean facilities, plenty toilets and lovely hot showers.
Disliked The site is right next to a very noisy road, not constant traffic but many loud vehicles racing by at times!
On site shop very limited and farm shop closed Sunday and Monday which is a shame if staying long weekend.
Quite a distance from any large food shop suppliers.

From the manager: Many thanks for your review. We are pleased to see that although you have disliked so many things about our site, it has not stopped you saying you would still return. Just to clarify a few things: We are just a small campsite and we have a small shop which is for convenience for our guests. We are NOT a supermarket. The Farm Shop: This is completely separate to our campsite and feel it is unfair that you are reviewing them when you are meant to be reviewing the campsite. They are called Oinkers if you feel the need to review them. With regards to the road we cannot control what drives along it. This road gives you fantastic access and is on a bus route. If you want complete peace and quiet with no road noise then I suggest that you find a campsite that is in the middle of nowhere with narrow lanes to get to. With regards to being far away from places I suggest that in future you do your research to where you are staying. We are 3 miles away from the A30 which means you can be in Exeter in 20mins and Okehampton is 15mins. However we are grateful that you would recommend us to your friends.
