What customers say
Ripper spot with heaps of room on pitches & top bloke staff. Loads for the kids like soft play, mini golf & bushwalks. Pub grub's a winner, especially the pizzas. Toilets clean, but water pressure's a bit dodgy sometimes. Chill vibes generally, though you might cop some noise when it's busy.

Liked The weather was perfect ! The bar staff were lovely and polite.
Disliked No one was in reception upon arrival. Every site we have visited, there has always been someone to greet or atleast come and say hello during the week if not available on arrival. We had booked our stay well in advance, asking for all 3 families to be pitched together. I understand when the sites busy its not always possible however when we arrived we were pitched away from each other with a party of 3 families all scattered in between us all (also split up) common sense would say to put the 3 families together but this did not happen for some odd reason. The staff at reception were extremely rude and had bad attitudes, not polite or welcoming when attempting to book activities. The bathrooms were also extremely disgusting.

Powered gravel caravan site
Liked The layout where we had the big green area in the middle for the kids to play in.
The park, crazy golf and soft play was lovely and new, clean, tidy and well looked after.
The communication from the staff was good.
The toilets were clean and tidy.
How close the site was to the local attractions.
Disliked The water pressure was terrible. When I was filling the aqua roll up for our caravan to get it 3/4 full it took about 20mins or more as the water was trickling out of the tap and kept stopping and starting.
The showers had the same problem, the water pressure was so low, that you could handle get any water to wash yourself with.

Liked Fab site, easy check in. Pitch sizes were great, electric hook up was easy. Lovely clean bathrooms, great food at the bistro and restaurant. The pizzas we had on sat night were delicious, so lovely to have alongside live music. Also the 10pm/10.30pm quiet time was a godsend. We have stayed at loads of camp sites and some people can play their music at 1am which is awful but it was fair and everyone respected it and it was lovely. Would definitely stay again.
Disliked Only very picky and that was the size of the shop. There was no washing up liquid available (but again my fault for forgetting to pack mine) and the pizza bar ran out of cheese for the pizzas. (But again, we went to get a second pizza as we are greedy). A bigger more stocked shop would be fab finance wise for them, especially with so many bookings.

A lovely relaxing two night stay.
Unpowered grass site
Liked Pitch size was fantastic.
Eblutions were clean and there were adequate showers.
Bar lovely and food was tasty and good value
Disliked Ran out of soap and toilet roll frequently... it was a busy weekend.
Long walk from field B to eblutions
A small block of toilets closer would be ideal

4th year visiting but standards are slipping. Smell ruined stay
Powered grass site
Liked Sunset pitches. Nice and quiet and away from hustle and bustle of peeps.
Pizza evening
Activities. George was great.
Main toilet facilities.
Disliked The foul smell from septic tank or whatever is letting out the foul smell. Not pleasant when trying to eat and drink by the bar.
Toilets by bar not same standard and felt not cleaned.
Sunset pitch had a long walk to toilet. The shack facilities would be great to have in use.
