What customers say
This family-run park's a ripper! Peaceful, tidy grounds, heaps of space. Toilets, showers, kitchen all good. Owners are legends, fire pit and pizza oven are a treat, kids love the pond. Short walk to parking, and the kitchen could be tidier sometimes. Great base for Chester.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Lovely location. The camp site is great with great facilities. The log cabin was a great addition too. And the fire pit area was lovely and we made use of that too.
Disliked If I have to pick a negative it’s that you can’t park near your tent. So whenever we needed to get some bits out the cars. It was a walk to the car park.

A fabulous Family Campsite that ensures a great experience
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Fabulous large pitches with great spaces in-between that has been marked out when you arrive. Clean toilets, showers and kitchen area. All are well lit. The owners walk around regular talking with everyone. The bar area was fantastic when it opened on the Sunday of Bank, and there was plenty of local people joining in too. I forgot my pillow and was found one from their own house to save me heading out. A great find and felt safe at all times.
Disliked It states clearly on the website that the site is on the air path of the airport, the early mornings can be disturbing but I am a light sleeper. I would have like a separate tap near/outside the toilets for washing my portable toilet, as always had one on other sites.

Disliked The shower I used was cold in the morning, however the one my partner used was fine!

The owners have really thought through what campers need for a restful break including a communal fridge, place to freeze packs to refreeze, plugs to change up electronic devices.
