Μου άρεσε Lovely open field with great views. Sharing the space with alpacas and peacocks, with one in particular that like to have a nosey what you’re up to. Pete the resident camper, showed me around and I got to meet the resident meerkats and wallabies too. Clean compost toilets and shower facilities, and hot water for washing up. Absolutely loved this place and will be returning

Μου άρεσε My second stay and still loved it. Great views of the sunset and only 2 mins walk to the beach. Lovely clean pitches and site, with clean showers and toilet facilities. Very friendly owner, Mei was really helpful in sorting pitches where my friends and I could stay together. Friendly staff, and close to train station to venture in to other towns. Lovey little farm shop on site too. I’d highly recommend having a beach fire and watch the sun go down - simply magical!

Δεν μου άρεσε Not a dislike, but more an FYI: the beach is a rocky beach and you will only see views of the sea not the beach from the site, which is still very lovely. It does have a train track running along the edge of the site that likes to say “hello” as it passes but this didn’t bother me, but might bother others.

Μου άρεσε Beautiful clean flat site that’s on the beach and a short drive to many walks. The pods were well equipped and kept us dry and warm in the Welsh weather, and the kids entertained with the TV inside too - it was great for watching scary movies just before they fell asleep 😬 Great little farm shop with local and fresh produce that was reasonably priced unlike some places that take advantage. Staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe on site was cosy, but we didn’t take advantage of it on this occasion, but we will definitely next time. Showers were lovely and hot too and had enough pressure for a lovely rinse after a cold dip in the sea.

Δεν μου άρεσε Not much to dislike. The only negative was that the toilets weren’t checked regularly, so the men’s had no loo roll for 2 days, and the women’s for one. In hindsight, we could have raised this with the staff and I’m sure it would have been resolved. But as avid campers, we always carry spare loo roll with us so it wasn’t a major issue for us.

Μου άρεσε Flat well kept ground with good facilities. Location is ideal for Scafell and Wasdale, and other areas - just 20mins drive. Surrounded by hills and mountains, showers are really good. Site had a poly tunnel with lines to dry your clothes which I thought was a nice touch. Johnty was really friendly and helpful. Fire pits available to use for free Free showers Free access to guest wifi Only pay extra for logs

Δεν μου άρεσε It’s a steep drive up so be prepared to navigate around sharp bends on narrow roads… but the drive is worth it for the views… and also it is the Lake District after all

Μου άρεσε Beautiful well kept site, great location, friendly owners. Close to a lot of great walks. Dog friendly, and if the weather is miserable, they open the farmhouse for breakfast

Μου άρεσε Stunning site, with very clean and amazing facilities. Hot showers, hot tap water, and very friendly owners. Flat grounds with fire pits provided and a small table too for each pitch. The site itself is a 20mins walk into Ironbridge

Δεν μου άρεσε Not a big deal as I can understand that the site wants to protect the grass but it’s worth noting that you can’t have your car by the pitch. But the site provides you with wheelbarrows to move your camping gear.

Μου άρεσε Really friendly and accommodating family. The site itself is relatively flat and close to Ingleton falls. Due to the adverse weather lately, the facilities were impacted but the owners had advised us before hand that it is a very basic campsite, and provided us with advice on what we needed. So please don’t expect luxury ie hot showers, large toilet blocks etc. I would suggest taking your own portable loo if you have one. Visitors have access to their private woodlands which is a lovely walk along the river As it is a field, it is a little bit muddy considering the weather of late, so take wellies. We were a group of 10 and enjoyed a lovely campfire just chatting and laughing away with no bother from the owners at all It is unfortunate that the weather has had such an impact on them, but they have reflected this in their current prices. I would return when the days are warmer and dryer. Thank you for a lovely stay

Μου άρεσε Booked as a group of 4 females to stay in a Yurt, and although it didn’t quite go as planned, the staff could not have done more to help us. Our yurt was flooded on arrival, and the owners and the staff offered us a shepherds hut, which was clean, warm and very cosy. There was use of a kettle with tea, coffee and milk provided. We were still able to use the yurt so we could sit in front of the log burner where we could relax and chat until bed time. We also had exclusive use of the bathroom which was huge and very very clean. The location is also very good with Flamborough only 20 mins drive and another beach 15mins away. Wake up, and there are peacocks just leisurely roaming around. We didn’t visit the animal farm on site, which was a shame. Highly recommended and we will be returning.

Μου άρεσε Absolutely stunning location with a forest on one side and the river on the other. Short 20-30 mins scenic walk into town to access everything. Easy to get to. Facilities were beyond expectation, clean, tidy and well prepared. Organisers are really friendly and helpful, and they have fire pits to hire. Just a shame that it is not a permanent campsite all year round. Highly recommend staying here if you have the chance before they move on

Μου άρεσε The site is located stunning views, and lots of space for pitching. The showers were hot and the area was very clean. There was also a communal area with use of a microwave, charge points and hot water for cold rainy days. This is a fantastic location for access to the blue lagoon and coastal walks. Would visit again!

Δεν μου άρεσε The location is too far from my home otherwise an excellent site.
