Μου άρεσε A peaceful quiet site. Lovely views and a nice walk around the perimeter. Plenty of space. The showers were roomy and easy to use

Μου άρεσε We loved the space, the flat, level ground and the large bull in the adjacent field. The pavilion (games room) is full of character and transports one back to the 1950’s, with table tennis, pool, table football TV, books and magazines. I loved the little friendly notices about the place. The campers kitchen was well equipped with washing machine, dryer and electrical items. There was a place for visitors to leave unused food items so that others could use it. And also a selection of tent pegs, presumably picked up from the field was available if necessary. The toilets and showers were clean and quirky with interesting pictures on the walls.

Μου άρεσε Large flat camping area. Lovely views. Showers were great. Beautiful countryside.

Δεν μου άρεσε There didn’t seem to be enough toilets. There was an almost constant queue when we stayed and the site was far from full. Quite pricey.

Μου άρεσε Big camping field with lots of space. Convenient for where we needed to be.

Δεν μου άρεσε The only two toilets were also shower cubicles so if they were both occupied by people showering there was quite a wait to use the toilet. This is ok if the pub is open as there are toilets there. But the pub isn’t always open. Only cold water for washing up. The chemical waste disposal is rather close to the washing up facilities and I observed a young person confusing the two when washing their frying pan! Comparatively pricey

Μου άρεσε Lovely clean facilities. À nice quiet site with plenty of space and we were permitted to have a fire on the ground. Friendly and helpful site staff too

Μου άρεσε It was peaceful after the bank holiday people went home. Nice view of the countryside from the top of the field. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The showers were spacious and warm, but could do with somewhere to sit for older people.

Δεν μου άρεσε Rather hilly. Even on a flat part we were on a slope. There’s nothing to dry hands on in the bathroom. There was no hot water in the washing up area.

Μου άρεσε What a beautiful site and such good value for money. It was very well kept and the facilities were clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice flat pitch too. There’s a co-op really near by

Μου άρεσε A peaceful site with a lovely river. It felt safe behind locked gates. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. There is a handy shop right by the gates.

Δεν μου άρεσε The toilet and shower facilities were adequate but could probably do with a refurbished. It didn’t spoil our stay though. We’ve seen much worse elsewhere.

Μου άρεσε The grass was short and the ground quite flat.

Δεν μου άρεσε The showers, although clean were way too small with nowhere, apart from hooks to keep dry clothes. The we’re almost to cramped to get in the doors and out of the two showers in the ladies (apart from the disabled shower) only one had a working lock. My husband reported the same lack of space in the men’s room and that the shower tray was dangerously slippery. The amenities block was protected by a number code but this was not illuminated at night, although there did appear to be lights available. Access to the block also took us through another camper’s pitch.

I do believe the power to the lights had tripped during the time of your stay and we are happy to announce they were sorted the next day. There shouldn't have been a pathway through another campers pitch .. We do listen to all comments .. All the best, Team Coldstream ..

Μου άρεσε The site was easy to find. The cafe was convenient and the food reasonable. We enjoyed the biker atmosphere and all the bikes.

Δεν μου άρεσε It’s close to a railway and the trains sound their horns every time they pass, which is not good first thing in the morning! Apparently there is wifi but it was down when we visited.

Δεν μου άρεσε The site was difficult to find. The Google map location link from the website wasn’t accurate. The washing up facilities seemed to be literally a bowl for use by campers. No hot water, no tap in fact. There were two toilets with showers in the same room so if two people were showering there was a long wait for the toilet!

Μου άρεσε We liked the covered area where we could cook standing up. They also have an electric kettle for use by campers and a free device charging point and drying room. It was easy to find and a beautiful spot.

Μου άρεσε The barn and proximity of facilities to the camping area were good. Friendly, helpful staff. Good WiFi and free charging points.

Δεν μου άρεσε The showers were a bit hit and miss. The one we used went from very hot to very cold intermittently and seemed to ignore the controls. Washing had to take place during the short period of temperature change!
