Μου άρεσε The second time that my sister-in-law and I have stayed here. Great location, great facilities and superbly well run by Vicky, the Campsite Manager, whose communications are faultless. Properly hot water, plenty of loo paper, a great camping experience - again!

Δεν μου άρεσε Honestly can't think of a thing.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Hi Ruth, Thank you so much for such a lovely review. It’s wonderful to hear that you both enjoyed your second stay with us and that you continue to find the site a great base for your visits. Thank you also for your very kind comments about the communication and how the campsite is run — they really do mean a lot. 😊 And I’m glad you had everything you needed for another comfortable camping experience! It was a pleasure having you both stay with us again, and I’m sure we’ll see you again before too long. Warm wishes, Vicky Campsite Manager

Μου άρεσε Everything! Vicky's an excellent manager who ensured that the initial comms, the welcome on arrival and the cleanliness of the facilities were all spot on. Really liked the emphasis on safety by her forwarding the Government message on fire safety to double check that everyone knew that fire pits and BBQs were temporarily prohibited as the ground is tinder dry.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Hi Ruth, It’s lovely to hear you had such a good stay, and I’m so pleased everything was spot on for you. I’m always keen to make sure everyone has all the information they need before arriving, and that the site and facilities are ready for you when you get here. Thank you also for mentioning the fire safety message. With the ground being so dry, it was really important to make sure everyone was aware of the temporary restrictions, so I’m glad the extra communication was helpful. It was lovely having you here, and I hope to see you back again another time! Best wishes, Vicky Campsite Manager

Μου άρεσε Everything! Excellent comms from Vicky (the Campsite Manager) and a warm welcome from her when we arrived. Excellent safety comms from her regarding fire safety in current dry conditions. Loos and showers were in Portakabins, I wasn't expecting much, but they were great - clean, plenty of loo rolls, hot showers, good pressure, superb. Excellent facilities all round and a great idea for a rugby club to utilise their grounds outside of the rugby season.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Hi Ruth, Thank you so much for such a lovely review! It was really lovely to meet you and welcome you to the campsite, and I’m so pleased you had such a positive stay. I’m particularly glad you found the facilities better than you were expecting! 😊 And thank you for mentioning the fire safety information — with the conditions being so dry, it’s really important to us that everyone knows exactly what’s allowed and that the site stays safe. It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your stay so much and would recommend us. Thank you again for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review, and I hope we’ll see you back here again sometime. Best wishes, Vicky Campsite Manager

Μου άρεσε Great price and a back to basics camping experience. 2x loos perfectly adequate as only 4 or 5 other camping units in the field. It was clear on the description there were no showers, so no surprise and I had my own facilities and was only staying one night anyway.

Μου άρεσε Lovely well spaced pitches. Loos had paper and were clean and nit the dreaded compost loos!!

Δεν μου άρεσε Soap dispenser near the basin would have been nice.

Δεν μου άρεσε Would have been nice to have had a soap dispenser at the basin.

Μου άρεσε Very professional Reception and a warm welcome. It had been very wet, but there were hardstanding pitches available as well as grass; I found a nice grass pitch and was absolutely fine. No other solo female campers last night, but I felt very safe and had a great night's sleep. The 3 toilets and the showers were more than adequate, but possibly the reason they say it's best to have your own is because at peak times for the Rowing Club, these facilities may be busy. There were washing up facilities and an Elsan point. Very easy walk into Hereford - and the opportunity to hire kayaks, canoes and paddle boards in season. Easy get in and if you bring your own ISUP it's less than £2 for the day.

Δεν μου άρεσε Can't think of a thing.
