Mi è piaciuto The second time that my sister-in-law and I have stayed here. Great location, great facilities and superbly well run by Vicky, the Campsite Manager, whose communications are faultless. Properly hot water, plenty of loo paper, a great camping experience - again!

Mi è piaciuto Everything! Vicky's an excellent manager who ensured that the initial comms, the welcome on arrival and the cleanliness of the facilities were all spot on. Really liked the emphasis on safety by her forwarding the Government message on fire safety to double check that everyone knew that fire pits and BBQs were temporarily prohibited as the ground is tinder dry.

Mi è piaciuto Everything! Excellent comms from Vicky (the Campsite Manager) and a warm welcome from her when we arrived. Excellent safety comms from her regarding fire safety in current dry conditions. Loos and showers were in Portakabins, I wasn't expecting much, but they were great - clean, plenty of loo rolls, hot showers, good pressure, superb. Excellent facilities all round and a great idea for a rugby club to utilise their grounds outside of the rugby season.

Mi è piaciuto Great price and a back to basics camping experience. 2x loos perfectly adequate as only 4 or 5 other camping units in the field. It was clear on the description there were no showers, so no surprise and I had my own facilities and was only staying one night anyway.

Mi è piaciuto Very professional Reception and a warm welcome. It had been very wet, but there were hardstanding pitches available as well as grass; I found a nice grass pitch and was absolutely fine. No other solo female campers last night, but I felt very safe and had a great night's sleep. The 3 toilets and the showers were more than adequate, but possibly the reason they say it's best to have your own is because at peak times for the Rowing Club, these facilities may be busy. There were washing up facilities and an Elsan point. Very easy walk into Hereford - and the opportunity to hire kayaks, canoes and paddle boards in season. Easy get in and if you bring your own ISUP it's less than £2 for the day.
