Μου άρεσε A bit 'rough and ready' but has all the basics for an overnight stay. Sandy pitches. An extension ehu is useful since some pitches are a distance from the ehu socket. Access to beach up a steep sand bank by barrier. Staff speak English and are very helpful

Μου άρεσε Great site. Big private pitches, very clean washrooms scattered across the site. Several chemical waste disposals. Very large farm shop selling fresh produce inc bread, cheeses, pates and meats. Friendly English speaking staff. Choose you own pitch via electric cart tour. Good free WiFi.

Μου άρεσε Friendly site and very helpful owner - Oliver. Choose camping pitch yourself and very laid back approach. Some pitches require considerable leveling with ramps. Good free WiFi coverage

Μου άρεσε Not a true camping site but a high standard aire pitch. Great river access at bottom of camping hut sites. Very clean toilet and washing facilities. Motorhome service point. Restaurant and shop when open

Δεν μου άρεσε Extraordinary high cost for a dog at 16Euros! No actual dog friendly facilities to justify anything more than token cost. Just a motorhome parking spot on dedicated carpark behind barrier. No onsite staff when we arrived at 6pm.

Μου άρεσε Very well equipped site with restaurant, bar, laundry, swimming pool and kids play park - even a small chapel. Charges extra for showers but clean and tidy. Some dog walks from camp rear but steep hills. Serviced campervan pitches in open area and not very private but ok for a short stay. Some distance from town. Local supermarket and petrol about 3-4miles away

Μου άρεσε Nice site but might get a bit crowded in busy times. Spotless and very well equipped toilets, showers, pot washing and chemical waste. Very good, free, WiFi! Swimming pool next door and 10 min walk to village and large supermarket / petrol

Μου άρεσε Good friendly site located near to a couple of nice villages. Decent sized private pitches. Some need levelling ramps. Very friendly owners ( Nicholas and Christine ) live on site and who both speak good English. Daily bread delivery if ordered night before. 4Amp power sockets so be careful not to overload and trip. Clean and well maintained. Small bar and cafe.

Μου άρεσε Lovely quiet spot, hard pitches decent sized and flat, water tap on most pitches. Didn't use onsite facilities ( although only dual toilet and shower for men/women as far as we could see ) other than waste disposal and pot+ pan wash Local bar 5 mins walk - open Monday-Sunday. Town Centre 15 mins on small footpath. Electricity - pay as you use ( £3.50 to heat motorhome 4pm- 9am ) Friendly and helpful owner

Από τον διαχειριστή: Thank you for your comment. The Wi-Fi is new and is now free for at least two hours. Have a nice day. Aurélie and Fred

Μου άρεσε Good location close to town centre. Decent sized pitches, clean and tidy site, clean toilets and showers - although not enclosed so assume they might be cold in cooler temperatures. Close to very well stocked supermarket.

Δεν μου άρεσε Chemical disposal point needs cleaning and updating - not pleasant using this.

Emilie

Μου άρεσε Lovely location, clean toilet and shower facilities. Large private pitches backing onto the river

Δεν μου άρεσε WiFi was poor with little or no connection

Μου άρεσε Very professional site setup. Shop, restaurant, outside cafe, information centre. Ideal for the majority of potential users. Water, service block and rubbish bins very close to pitches. Caters very well for both a transient visit and a longer stay. Ideal location for Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis and Fort William

Δεν μου άρεσε Free WiFi not usable in busy periods

Μου άρεσε Strange setup well described in other reviews. Shame because this site has a lot of potential in view of location.

Μου άρεσε Small site but very well equipped. All of the site, including the toilets and showers, are spotless. High site security and might suit single female campers. Good quality and wide pitches with metered electricity ( very useful for camper vans and low use ). Friendly and informative owner living on site. Approach lanes need some care due to sharp bends and fast local drivers. Small playpark, pitch and putt would suit youngsters.

Δεν μου άρεσε Nothing

Από τον διαχειριστή: Hello Thank you for your review Much appreciated Hope to see you again soon Wayne

Μου άρεσε Lovely location on the edge of 30ft sand cliffs overlooking beaches. About 20 mins walk into Withensea Very clean toilets and shower block - although limited facilities might get crowded in busy periods. Non - metered EHU included in pitchup price Very large site give lots of space Good mobile signal and TV reception Very friendly owners Nearby road but quiet at night

Μου άρεσε Stayed on the grass pitches with a campervan. Scenic site with a small river flowing mid camp. Very generous pitch size with rope borders. Basic but clean toilet block and showers. However it would be helpful to have a seat or stall in the shower cubicles otherwise its hard to dry feet since floor is wet. Laundry and kitchen wash rooms in the block. Roads in are a maze of very narrow, high hedged lanes with some very sharp bends and steep hills and need careful negotiation and backing skills if anything else is approaching. Only small and medium campers suitable since limited road width and low clearance under some trees could cause issues. Each pitch has a firepit and this can make the local area very smoky if all in use. There is no chemical waste emptying facilities so care needs to be taken if this is needed during the stay. Same for grey waste. No wifi and very limited mobile signal. Digital TV no problem. Pitches are chosen on arrival and this is convenient to find a suitable spot. However if in a campervan it is best to leave an awning up ( or similar ) otherwise if away for the day it could be taken on your return. Overall, in our opinion, it is probably more suited to tents than campervans.
