Μου άρεσε: Staff were all very friendly. Toilet facility kept immaculately clean. Very handy having toilet, sink and shower all in one. A situation that more touring sites should adopt. Washing up/laundry room were excellent. Handy having a pub on site. A selection of necessities such as milk and bread on site.

Δεν μου άρεσε: The pitch we had sloped a little more than I could ramp up without having the awning pegging in hard-core ground. The site advertised that booking in advance for a table in the pub ( for drinks and or food) was required. This was awkward as we did not plan our days out fully and therefore did not want to book a table at a time we were certain to be there. We therefore booked a table for a meal fir the day we arrived and Sunday lunch only. However on our last day we popped in the pub fir a drink on the off chance that a table was available. There were plenty of tables available and was told by the bar staff that it wasn't necessary to book a table for drinks. On the two occasions we had a meal we found the costs were too high for the standard of cuisine offered. All told, it was a good holiday.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Dear Reviewer The pitch that you refer to (3) does slope away slightly, but dos not generally cause any issues for people unless they have a very large unit (which you did not). As regards to your comments in relation to us advising on booking confirmations etc that table reservations are advisable for both food and or drinks only, this is correct; we do this because at peak times of the year we do get fully booked most evenings. Walk in customers are generally not a problem during quieter periods, and we always try to accommodate wherever possible. I am sorry to hear that you found the cost of food not worthy, but we are competitive for the area and generally get praised for our food offering. On a separate note, we do have all facilities on site, including Grey Waste Disposal and therefore do not appreciate you emptying this in to the site hedge. Kind Regards Mark, Claire & The Ring Team

Μου άρεσε: We has at amazing stay at The Ring park up, from Thursday to sunday the food at the pub was outstandingly scrumptious especially the Sunday dinner we had today plates were left empty puddings were lovely and a good atmosphere from all the staff and fellow customers to the pub would definitely Stay again showers were clean and the utility Room nice and warm. The pub shop was great for buying gifts and sneaky treats. Free WiFi and it wasn't bad at all. Tony and Lucky

I completely agree re the toilet seat lids, but unfortunately they have had to be removed due to them constantly getting broken by people sitting on them, even though we provide stools in all bathrooms. Μου άρεσε: This is a very peaceful site in the middle of nowhere. The pub/restaurant on site is quite expensive for what they’re offering though but the facilities were very clean & tidy.

Δεν μου άρεσε: The area you empty toilet needs to be blocked off as Restaurant guests don’t really need to see site guests emptying their waste when they’re about to eat.

I am sorry to hear that you feel the pub itself is a little on the pricy side, we generally get considered value for money, but I do understand that Anglesey is not the cheapest place in the world. For the benefit of other readers regarding the toilet emptying facilities, this can not be seen from the Pub or Beer garden, but it possibly can be when walking from the car park to the Pub and this is something that we will consider in the future. Μου άρεσε: Everything about this little campsite is great, quiet, clean, showers/toilets lovely clean and modern, there is also washing machine/dryer/ washing up room, lovely and clean also a freezer shall you need to store food which is really useful..the pub itself is great, clean and home cooked meals, perfect 👌 dog friendly also sell doggy treats which my lola enjoyed very much

Δεν μου άρεσε: Nothing..the only thing I would of likeed would to have somwere for my pooch to run around, I know there places to go to but it's a drive, if you fancy a quiet day on site it would be useful to have somewere to let your pooch off lead to get some excercise but other than that no dislikes at all..

We completely agree that it would be nice to have a doggy run / walk area on site, this is not something that we currently have room for, but it is something that we are trying to make happen in the future. we do recommend a quiet lane close to site for walking currently. Μου άρεσε: Lovely enclosed van park with a great eatery pub on site. Good size pitch and very well maintained. Also well signposted. The combined bathroom, shower and toilet rooms were spot on and very clean. We hooked up to electric and water and had no problems at all. The food at the ring was pretty good too, not quite gastro standard but lots of choice on the menu and they served a good selection of nice wines and beers.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Not much to dislike, there was also a washing machine and tumble dryer room available onsite for a cost via a coin-operated device. I used the washer and dryer but didn't have enough money to dry my clothes properly. I reckon it would cost £8 in washing/drying fees.I paid £3 on tumbling fees and my clothes were still wet. But it's a great convenience if you need that option and not many other sites offer it. The ring is the only nice venue in the area, which suited us fine. It is a lovely place indeed, well maintained and beautifully modern with lovely outdoor seating and great open aspect. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating. In the morning we couldn't find any fields off road for dog walking in walking distance that weren't privately owned and gated off. It is very quiet around there so we could walk along the roads with our pooch. A field that allowed our dog to run around in would have been an extra asset but certainly not a deal breaker being in Anglesey you could always drive to find somewhere, which we did - to the lovely Church Bay Beach later that morning.

Μου άρεσε: Lovely little site , peaceful and quiet. The pitch was very spacious. Clean toilet/ shower block. Separate wash area with laundry available ( extra charge). There’s an outdoor dog wash, water and waste disposal. . We dined in the restaurant with out dog in tow, friendly staff but we found the food rather bland. It did get busy and glad we booked in advance.
