Μου άρεσε: Absolutely everything was fantastic. Nicola and her family were wonderful hosts and couldn’t have done more for us. The accommodation was superb, very clean and with all the facilities you could hope for. The location was very peaceful and the scenery was spectacular.

Μου άρεσε: Beautiful location, beautifully appointed shepherd's hut and excellent value. Really liked the intention of the hosts to make the site as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible, and appreciated their friendliness. Also appreciated having good walks from the door. Loved having the company of the hens at breakfast - and relaxing on the swing and in the hammock.

Μου άρεσε: We recently had the pleasure of staying in this lovely Shepherd's hut nestled in the heart of some of the most stunning scenery we have ever seen. As soon as we arrived, we received a warm welcome from Nicola, who gave us a tour of the property and even brought us some fresh milk to go with the lovely welcome pack already left in the hut. Nicola was always just a text away and did everything she could to help out, even offering to post my girlfriend's earrings she had forgotten after we left. The Shepherd's hut itself was beautifully decorated and had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. From the comfortable bed to the cozy log burner, every detail had been thought of to make us feel right at home. A highlight of our stay was the lovely walks in the area, which allowed us to take in the spectacular views and get out and about in the sun. Nicola was also incredibly helpful in providing recommendations for local attractions, activities, and pubs, which helped us make the most of our stay. We would highly recommend this Shepherd's hut to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing experience.

Μου άρεσε: Absolutely everything. We stayed in Finch which is the traditional gypsy caravan. It's quaint, beautifully redone and more spacious than you first imagine. The toilet and shower facilities are a 2 minute walk across the gardens, here you also find kettle & toaster etc. We ordered the BBQ package and 2 breakfast packages for our 3 night stay and the food was amazing, local, fresh and really high quality. Breakfast packages were so huge we had enough for hiking lunches. There are BBQs on site plus the fire pit for use without additional charge but we'd brought our camping stove. On site is also the old bakery/barn where you can buy firewood, jams, eggs and apples, I really recommend you grab a jam, they do come in the breakfast boxes but it's the most delicious extra fruity jam I've had in years. Nicola was away for our visit but contactable via phone (we got a little lost on our way up the hill, totally our own fault as the instructions were clear, we just got carried away by scenery and walk planning. Nicola's Mum, Rosemary was on site and very helpful, she gave us a tour of where everything was and checked in daily when she saw us out and about. I'm sure there were people in the rental cottage but the nature and layout of the site are such that you felt like you were there alone. No car noise, the occasional farm sound, just nature and peace. Locally there is so much to do, the walk over to the Dinorban Arms is a great one, there's lots of little hikes and larger ones on the doorstep or less than 20 minutes away. It is possible to get a taxi, costs include the coming out fee but we found that really reasonable (hike down to Dinorban & taxi back after a couple of pints!) Or, just sit and enjoy the scenery, especially the stars!! All said I cannot wait to revisit this site, it's out of this world amazing.

I am sorry that I didn't meet you personally and am so pleased that you enjoyed all aspects of your stay and your tip for other guests with regard to the walk to the Dinorben with a taxi back is a great tip!. It was really good to get feedback on the food packages as it helps to know that they felt like good value. Lastly may I thank you for taking such good care of the wagon during your stay - it was greatly appreciated. We hope to see you here again one day in the future.

I have asked Pitchup to add some wording to reflect the size of the bed platform more accurately, It is a queen sized memory mattress which is full length but a little narrower than a double mattress. You definitely need to be good friends in this space :) I am so pleased you both enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back. Thank you for adding your photos too!
