Eyemouth Holiday Park

Μου άρεσε Location. 10 minute walk into town.

Δεν μου άρεσε Motorhomes are an afterthought. Toilets and showers very basic. Facility to empty toilet cassette but nowhere to empty water tanks. Very much a caravan park aimed at families. Kids kicking a ball about hitting 80 grand vans (not ours i may add)

Μου άρεσε Staff very friendly and helpful on arrival ,park well looked after staff picking litter and keeping grounds in good state .
Plenty of kids around but after 20:00 hrs very quiet,met lovely people who were staying just overnight or for a few days all very friendly .
Great walks for the dogs along the coastal path and a short walk into Eyemouth lovely wee town have already booked to come back in September

Δεν μου άρεσε Pitch was fine and views are outstanding and there it ends.

The site owners should be ashamed.

The shower block is awful. The taps at the sink have one power…which is soak everyone.

The bin and waste disposal area for campers is a health hazard. Rubbish lying around and raw sewage where you empty portable toilets. Disgusting.

Big mistake closing the little camp shop many years ago too.

Mentioned to the site office they seemed not to acknowledge or care about the feedback.

The driftwood bar and especially the lounge is devoid of atmosphere or character but the saving grace is the staff, who are offer great service and are very friendly and welcoming.

Normally we stay in caravans and the one two years ago was dirty, we complained to the site office then. This time an campervan And heard nothing.

It is nostalgia that brings us back but as I say I am so disappointed.

Μου άρεσε Great little pitch 14 pitches all together plenty of room easy hook up toilets and shower block over the road clean and well maintained had a good time beach close by 10 minute walk into eyemouth itself will be back

Μου άρεσε Good pitch and modern toilets and showers. Lovely coast walk from the park, with fine views.

Δεν μου άρεσε Huge park - got lost! Very regimented. Quite expensive - £52 for one night in our small campervan

Μου άρεσε Location to Eyemouth.

Δεν μου άρεσε No suitable parking at reception for motorhome. Absolutely shocking facilities for touring pitches. Toilet block soiled with faeces on toilet pan and wall. Showers very poor quality and condition. Chemical disposal was absolutely disgusting as blocked and no hose on water tap to allow any chance of cleaning or clearing. Was met with point over flowing with previous persons waste. No policing of area, which meant next pitch had cars over quota parked within touching distance of our pitch, fire risk! Children from static holiday homes playing with balls on touring pitch area right outside people's vans. Would not recommend for tourers or vans!

Μου άρεσε The Campsite was close to the town and had a open view of the sea and a pleasant walk into Eyemouth. Our pitch was level and spacious.
There was a warm welcome by Erica in reception.
Despite the option we did not use the entertainment facilities.

Δεν μου άρεσε The location of the Amenity Block was a walk away in amongst the static vans. It was not cleaned for the two days that we were there with excrement on one ladies toilet seat rim. The washrooms were badly finished with one toilet loose and coming from the floor. The shower rooms were hot and uninviting with mould and slippery floors in the showers. The shower heads were cheap replacements on makeshift holders which were difficult to reach. One shower mixer in the gents could not be regulated. The windows were seized and the whole amenities block is in need of replacement.
Some side roads were scruffy and not paved.
The two night stay was very expensive for a touring pitch and the basic facilities were not good. we would not stay there again.

Δεν μου άρεσε Dogs off leads around camping area, when they went to the bar at night, the dog was howling and barking from the caravan. Ladies toilets were dirty.

Μου άρεσε Nothing, apart from close too coastal path to Eyemouth.

Δεν μου άρεσε The showers, all two of them in the gents, had black mould on the grouting, badly in need of upgrading. The toilets were marginally better. Doors to the showers and toilets were locked and the mechanisms on the locks were unreliable, difficult to operate, did not always work, and are in need of replacement. These facilities look like they belong to the 1970's and have not been upgraded since then.
We had booked an electric grass pitch, and got a hardstanding pitch. I cannot recollect seeing grass pitches. The Pitchup website is misleading stating that there are 16 caravan and 16 motorhomes pitches There were only 16 pitches in total.
We were wakened every morning at 5.45am by cars leaving the statics, obviously going to work as the same vehicles left at the same time daily. Our pitch on the touring area was on the road towards the exit.
WIFI has to be paid for and is unreliable, if available at all. Surely this should be included as standard in this day and age, as quality sites do.
There is no motorhome servicing area for, for example, waste water. The chemical disposal is in the open air beside the bins. Awful!
We had some security concerns as it appears that people not using the site cut through. There was no visible sign of security operating.
Unless Parkdean Resorts is able to upgrade the facilities, it should close the touring area, as it appears it is not serous about providing up to the up to date quality facilities expected by tourers.
