Μου άρεσε: Large flat grass pitches in spacious field; basic but clean and adequate facilities; friendly and helpful. At dusk we had a delightful 20 minutes watching a barn owl hunting on the site- a measure of the quiet and calm in this very rural location

Μου άρεσε: Didn't get the chance to stay as we broke down on the way there, but called ahead to let them know and cancel the booking, and they were so lovely over the phone, said that if we did manage to get back on the road, we were welcome, didn't matter the time of arrival Really hope we get the chance again soon, and actually make it there this time!

Μου άρεσε: Everything was perfect! Very easy and friendly check in ! Plenty of choice of pitch over 3 fields! Clean compost toilets! Peaceful yet close to lovely pub and supermarkets! Perfect for our dog he loved it! Can’t wait to go back!

Μου άρεσε: Bardzo duży camping, nieograniczone miejsce na namiot, zameldowanie od 8:00 do 22:00, wyjazd następnego dnia kiedy chcesz. Cisza i spokój oddalony kemping od drogi. Mili właściciele. Czyste toalety. Polecam na pewno wrócimy.

Μου άρεσε: Spacious fields with lots of beautiful scenery, clean compostable toilets. The area was separated into 3 fields Quiet Medium Loud They worked out exactly like that, we had a great pleasure in staying in the first field and heard absolutely no noise all night long. Wicked club down the road and shops local for supplies. Great escape to the countryside

Μου άρεσε: Have been coming hear for years and will always come back. The owners are lovely, it's a basic no fuss site, always clean and you can have a fire. Always lovely views. Good location as well to attractions such as Wells, Glastonbury, cheddar. And the queen vic pub up the road.

Μου άρεσε: Plenty of space, toilets kept very clean. Close to the pub which served lovly food at a good price. Very friendly site at a good price.

Μου άρεσε: This campsite is local to me and well located. The second field allows you to have some off lead time for dogs which was great for mine as he loves being off lead and chasing his frisbee. Nice views and easy to find. Friendly staff. Decent amount of water taps dotted about the site. A good amount of composting toilets which were clean and not smelly.

Δεν μου άρεσε: The grass was quite long across the site. The hounds from a local hunt kennels woke us up very early with lots of barking and howling which was really annoying as it really disturbed my dog. The doors on the toilets in field two were a bit tricky; firstly myself and other camper couldn't get them open, and once open, they wouldn't lock or stay closed! Unfortunately I think I got off to a bad start on this site as when I arrived I paid and was told I could pitch anywhere. I didn't want to be too isolated as I am a lone female and wanted to be near the wooded area so I could hang my camping shower from a branch so I decided on a space between two caravans which was plenty big enough for my tent leaving plenty of space on either side. I was then approached by a man from one of the caravans who told me I shouldn't pitch there as the man in the other caravans would want to park his car there. I was a bit puzzled as there was plenty of space in front of the caravans for car parking. I told him that I had been told I could pitch my tent there and he then said it was "campsite politics". I decided to move my tent as I didn't feel comfortable there but in reality I think it had soured my opinion of the site. I ended up leaving a day early as I just didn't feel comfortable after that.
