Μου άρεσε We really enjoyed our stay. The alpacas were lovely to watch and we liked the circular pitch layout. The pizza van was really handy too. Washing facilities were of a good standard.

Μου άρεσε I loved the whole experience. The pictures didn’t do it justice. It’s a perfectly small site with space in the centre. The alpacas are sweet to watch, showers were clean, tidy and hot. Would definitely be coming again. I was worried that being so close to the road it would be noisy but it’s set off the road and sound proofed with bushes and trees. It attracts kind people, either they keep to themselves quietly or they are helpful.

Δεν μου άρεσε Disliked how hard it was to find the first time. Equally not a bad thing that unwanted people don’t know it’s there.

Μου άρεσε Lovely little sire, well situated for cheddar, gorge and wells, Burnham on sea also within drive distance.
Toilet/showers clean and hot water, local pub and garage/shop in walking distance, local walk by old river axe just off entrance.
Great to see alpacas onsite.

Μου άρεσε I loved the simplicity site with lovely showers and toilets. The baby alpacas was very entertaining for the kids. This site is perfect for letting the kids free and make friends and gets them off technology. I think the site would benefit from a free toy library as family's leave toys for others to play with when they go home. We have stayed her 2x now and thinking of booking again for next year. Top site and lovely staff. Very clean and tidy. Top job for all involved working on the site.

Μου άρεσε We have just returned from a visit at Peak View Gardens campsite, we had an absolutely wonderful time. It is quiet and family friendly and suited our needs for our 3 young boys. The view of waking up to the Alpacas in the morning was a delight. We enjoyed the stay so much that we made the decision to extend our stay by an extra night. The owners are very attentive and happy to help with anything needed -they were very quick to respond to any queries.

We will be planning to stay again in the future.

Δεν μου άρεσε Toilet and shower in same room and only 3 rooms so when people are showering other people can’t use the toilet resulting in people peeing behind cars in carpark area

Noisy guests playing loud music.

Never met anyone who worked there!

We’re sorry to hear about your experience with our facilities. At the moment, our showers and toilets are located together in combined rooms, which we understand can cause inconvenience during busy times. We are reviewing ways to improve accessibility for all guests and appreciate your comments as we plan future upgrades.

We also regret that you experienced noise from other guests. While we kindly ask everyone to respect quiet hours, we recognise that this doesn’t always happen and will continue working on stronger enforcement to ensure a peaceful stay for all.

Lastly, we apologise if you didn’t have the chance to meet our team during your visit. We do have staff on site and available by phone, but we’ll make sure we’re more visible and approachable for guests going forward.

Δεν μου άρεσε All of the tents but a couple including ours had families in that were all there together so most of the site was just them making a lot of noise till late. Showers not great didn’t use them in the end as only stayed for one night so showered when got home.

We’re sorry that your experience was affected by noise from other guests.

Each tent was booked individually, so we were not aware this was a larger family group when reservations were made.

We do not accept stag or hen parties, and we are updating our Terms & Conditions with Pitchup to make our policy on group bookings clearer to help avoid situations like this in future.

With regard to the showers, these are cleaned and checked regularly, but we take your comments on board and will continue to monitor them closely to ensure they remain up to standard for all guests.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, as this helps us improve, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another try in the future.

Μου άρεσε Beautiful campsite, very clean toilets/showers, very helpful customer services, near lots of places to go and things to do with the kids. Loved staying here!!

Μου άρεσε We were able to drive to our pitch and unload, but after that cars were parked in the car park. This was great as it meant you could play ball games ect on the site without the worry of hitting any cars. The space was great and not too overcrowded which meant we were able to set up badminton and play some camp games. We were also pleasantly surprised that the site had alpacas, these were cute. The facilities were adequate. We also managed to do a walk literally from the site on the last day without the need of driving which was great.

Δεν μου άρεσε The showers were very temperamental in the sense that they were either freezing cold or boiling hot. We were able to manage with body showers, but hair washing was difficult. I'm not sure how you would manage with a young child.
