Μου άρεσε Peaceful and relaxed. The facilities were very clean and well looked after. A proper escape with a stunning view of Godrevy lighthouse.

Δεν μου άρεσε Toilet block is a bit of a walk, one of our party has restricted mobility. Hadn't realised this or probably wouldn't have opted for here.

Thank you also for highlighting the lighting in the toilet and shower. As this is our first year and only been open a month we’ve had the benefit of very long summer days, we hadn’t fully appreciated that the lighting there wasn’t sufficient. We really appreciate the feedback and will be taking it on board.

To far to walk to village / beach and back with ease, need to allow plenty of time.

Μου άρεσε Large pitches, very clean toilets and hot shower. Amazing sea views including Godrevy lighthouse. Close to footpaths to walk to beach. Peaceful.

Δεν μου άρεσε Nowhere to fill up the motorhome with water, nowhere to drain grey waste, nor chemical disposal (to be fair this is stated). The road is busy in August so not a pleasant walk to the beach, best to get the bus. No phone data for us (On Three).

Godrevy Wilds is marketed as a small, simple, low-impact pop-up wild camping site, with facilities intentionally kept to the essentials. As stated on our Pitchup listing, these consist of a couple of toilets, a shower and a cold washing-up area. We do not advertise motorhome water filling, grey/black waste or chemical disposal facilities as services we offer. We appreciate that different campers are looking for different things, and unfortunately it sounds as though our campsite wasn’t the right fit for you if these additional services were important to your stay. We have welcomed many other guests, including motorhome owners, who have enjoyed the simplicity of the site.

For guests walking to the beach, there is also a footpath directly opposite the campsite which runs through the fields towards the beach, providing an alternative to walking along the main road.

Mobile coverage can vary considerably depending on the network provider, and Gwithian is renowned for poor and variable signal.

As this is our first year operating Godrevy Wilds and we have only been open for around a month, we are always listening to feedback and looking at ways we can improve the site for future guests. Thank you again for your feedback and for staying with us.

Μου άρεσε It has a beautiful view of the sea and sunset through the long grass, and the pitches between the long grass were neatly mown and spacious. There was a decent hot shower and the facilities were neat and clean. There were beautiful swallows, jersey cows and lots of butterflies. It was peaceful at night, and the owners were friendly and welcoming.

Δεν μου άρεσε It is next to the road and the no.14 bus drivers are happy to stop at the gate, which was perfect for my 5-year-old daughter and I, but if you are wanting truly "wild camping" this is not it! I'd call it a farm campsite. It is also not a site with play areas for children, there wasn't a central area for the children to play together easily as there was only a track or long grass between the tents.

We’re sorry that the site did not fully meet your expectations regarding the children’s facilities. Godrevy Wilds is marketed as a small, simple, low-impact pop-up campsite with spacious pitches and a focus on peace and nature. We do not advertise a play area or dedicated children’s area, and we deliberately don’t have a central communal play space as we want to maintain the quiet, relaxed atmosphere that many of our guests enjoy.

As this is our first year running Godrevy Wilds, we’re very grateful for all feedback and will certainly take your comments on board as we plan for next year. We are still learning what works best for our guests while also wanting to retain the peaceful, spacious and simple nature of the campsite.
