Lamarth Farm Campsite

Μου άρεσε I really liked the rustic feel. I loved the little shed with the toys for kids and books for adults. The chickens and goats round the corner were lovely. The free use of a fire pit and being able to buy logs on site was brilliant. Great communication from the owner. Nearby shops if you need anything and close to beaches. Overall a lovely campsite and we would definitely go back but for longer next time.

It can be a windy site when the wind is not from the prevailing direction where we have shelter - i may actually look into getting a few windbreaks for please to use when staying. Thank you

Μου άρεσε The friendly community feel and everything needed was provided (and some). The site is well kept with good facilities and hot water in the showers which is what is needed after a long walking day! The space you are given isn’t constrained and you feel you are in the outdoors as you want to be ☺️

Μου άρεσε Just the most wonderful stay. Everything we needed and more. The children loved the chickens and goats. And what a treat being able to purchase fresh eggs! Plenty of space for the children to run around and be children with a games shed for them to search through also. The bell tent was the touch of glamping we were after. We arrived and set our beds up soon to be welcomed by the hosts on their evening rounds. No complaints here!

Μου άρεσε Fantastic family run campsite. Really friendly, good value for money, great location. Loads of room too.
Lovely chickens and goats to look at. Loads of hot water for showers and washing up etc.

Δεν μου άρεσε The toilet/shower block was a bit shabby but plenty of hot water and kept very clean and to a good standard.

In response to 'shabby toilet block'- Having been open just 2 seasons the facilities are 2nd hand as we are starting out, although cosmetically a little run down they are well maintained, clean , with some extras that other back to basics sites are lacking. We hope to in the future replace them when funds allow.

Lamarth Farm Campsite & Holiday Cottage

If you are looking for a great Campsite in Cornwall, We highly recommend Lamarth Farm near Helston!

Rachel & Luke, the site owners are very welcoming , friendly and knowledgeable, helping with information on local beaches, shops or days out.

The site is a flat grass field , sheltered by hedgerows. There is a seperate enclosed Dog exercise area, a farm area, football goals even a swingball! You have views of the Sea and also of RNAS Culdrose, and very dark skies at night which is great for star gazing.

The toilets are very clean and well maintained, the showers were hot and again very clean. There is a covered washing up area , plants for sale, and a hut that is full of books, local information, and things for kids to play with on the field. There is a fridge freezer for campers to use as well as a kettle and plenty of plugs to charge your phone or battery packs, even an air pump to blow up beds etc.

They really have thought of everything to make your stay great!

There are goats, chickens and ducks in the farm area that was very popular with the children, you can buy fresh eggs from the site at a very reasonable price too.

Today (Monday) there was a visiting Crepe and Coffee van there at 8.30am serving lovely coffee and amazing sweet or savoury Crepes 😋

You can see RNAS Culdrose from the site and get to see lots of aircraft flying over which adds to your stay.

Well definitely be stopping here again in the future!
