Μου άρεσε: Ken and Sonia are excellent hosts, extremely friendly and welcoming. They have put a lot of effort into making the campsite a magical place. All the other campsites seem far less appealing by comparison.

Μου άρεσε: The couple running the site were extremely friendly and helpful. We were given a number of pitches to choose from and we chose Middle Earth. There was a campfire area with plenty of room for 6 to sit around and enjoy a bbq and natter. There was a separate area to pitch our tent. We have a 6-man tent and plenty of room. Could have easily fitted another small tent also. I really liked the distance between our pitches and the other pitches. There is a communal washing-up area with drinking water. Two eco toilets are available and kept very clean. No showers, no electricity. Personally, one or two nights would be enough for me. However, a real sense of being in nature and the tranquillity to enjoy it. The noise of the traffic was very distant and no loud music either. Sat out watching the full moon and the stars to the early hours with the owls twit-twooing around us. We explored the reservoir the following day, a 5-minute drive, well worth a visit. Great location to bird watch. We had a nice coffee in the café too. Overall a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax with family.

Μου άρεσε: The whole experience was brilliant, our 3 & 5 year old grandchildren loved every minute and cried when we left. Ken and Sonia are fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Great time had by all and will definitely be going again.

Μου άρεσε: This was our first camping experience and we had a lovely time and will definitely be going back. We were given a choice of available pitches and we chose a very pretty private pitch with lots of space for the two of us. The hosts Ken and Sonya were lovely and very welcoming, they made us feel very comfortable during our stay respecting privacy but also inviting us to join them round the campfire or for events. The toilets were a new experience but felt clean and comfortable. We will be going back!
