Μου άρεσε: I love this site and this is the second time I've been here. It's so peaceful and well placed for me to visit South Walney Nature reserve. This was the first time in a yurt and although it's very lovely inside and equipped with everything you need the outdoor shower was not for me, obviously a personal preference. You do have use of a bathroom inside West Point House so you don't go without if outdoor bathing isn't your style. I will be back but unfortunately not in a yurt

Μου άρεσε: Lovely stay. Gavin is a credit to the place and can’t do enough to make the experience perfect. Pods are so clean and everything you need. We’ll deffo be returning!

Μου άρεσε: The yurt was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The location was very peaceful and I loved hearing the birds singing. We were within walking distance to a fabulous beach. We had a lovely weekend away.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Camp site situated in a middle of housing estate ,so you feel like on someone back garden. No electrics no hitting so you can freeze to death

We do feel had you have read the properly listing we clearly indicate the site is without power & runs from Solar packs for off grid camping. Whilst the pods are not heated we offer hot water bottles, throws & winter duvets in your unit & Yurts can be booked as a heated alternative which is indicated in the descriptions. Unfortunately whilst our location is driving through a housing area the site itself is located towards the tip of the island with a 2 minute walk to a 4 mile beach line & surrounded by nature in Walney Islands nature reserve. Thank you again for taking the time to review our property.

Μου άρεσε: Gavin welcomed us on arrival and was incredibly professional. Ideal location for the beach and surround areas. Once on site, it feels very secluded. Lovely vibe.

Μου άρεσε: We loved how hospitable the host was. He made sure he was there to greet us and show us to our yurt, which was immaculate and beautifully presented. No detail was missed and extra provisions were given to make our stay warm and comfortable. Due to the weather being so cold we were also given access to the building for indoor showers and toilet use. The facilities were the cleanest and the staff were the friendliest. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Μου άρεσε: We loved all the special and thoughtful little touches on arrival such as a lovely warm welcome, a tour of the amenities, power packs, ice packs, a concise and polite safety run down and the promise of anything we need at the end of a txt or call... We loved the location, shared yet private... you arrive through a housing estate yet hear all the nearby nature, allowed us to feel out in the sticks... Clean, tidy and so very comfortable x
