Μου άρεσε The quiet and well maintained site in relation to the pitches and grassed areas. The staff were also really friendly and lovely

Δεν μου άρεσε Whilst the toilets and washing facilities are in lovely old buildings this transfers into the amenities which are very dated and could really benefit from invest in upgrading to more modern facilities. The shower was ok but didn’t like the shower curtains. The washing area was over run with dead wasps/bees which weren’t cleaned up during our stay very often if at all. Lack of children facilities, there appears space for small play equipment or old school styled games/ table tennis table etc.

Μου άρεσε The site was great, the facilities were clean and well maintained, the grass and pitches well looked after. Really happy with our stay.

Δεν μου άρεσε Wasps! There must have been a nest near our pitch as there were loads rounf the water supply (not the sites fault I know). The only thing that let the site down was the toilet and shower blocks were a little dated. But that's me being picky. The WiFi was terrible. Id suggest an EE sim if you need Internet. They have the best coverage for the site.

Μου άρεσε Very friendly and helpful warden who showed us to our pitch and provided us with information and a map of the site. Very clean and well kept grounds and excellent amenities..they even have an iron & ironing board 🌟 Pub that serves food directly opposite.

Δεν μου άρεσε Being to close to the busy dog walking path, our dog is nervous and the steady flow of people had our dog shaking and yapping for most of the time we were there.

Μου άρεσε We only stayed for one night here in our campervan as a stop over on a long journey but the campsite was lovely. Friendly welcome and all amenities explained. Would be a perfect base to explore the area for a longer period of time. We ate at the pub opposite which was superb! As others have mentioned the toilets and showers are not new but they were very clean and functional so no complaints and not very busy as the majority of pitches seemed to be larger Motorhomes or caravans with their own facilities. WiFi worked for us too.

Δεν μου άρεσε We have a camper smaller than a vw, we only use the electric to make a cup of tea in the morning, but we still have to pay the same as those with tv, microwave, mobile phones, computers and all the other gadgets they can't live without. It would be much fairer to use electric cards and pay for what you use.
