Μου άρεσε: A well run quiet site and Nigel was really helpful and offered to assist with any issues should we have had any. Plenty of space between the pitches allowing an amount of privacy, close enough for a chat with others should you wish, it also allowed younger campers room to play.

Μου άρεσε: Proximity to the sea but that part of the coastline is not exactly picturesque.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Site that was tired looking and lacklustre. The condition and cleanliness of the toilets/showers. One of the men’s urinals was not connected to a water pipe and stank. Being woken up at 6 or 7am by the cock crowing. The view of an abandoned caravan adjacent to our pitch (photo below) and its door banging constantly in the wind. Not overly enamoured with Nigel who “greeted” us, initially being a bit surly on the phone. Signage to the site from the road could be improved- took a while to find the site.

Μου άρεσε: Nice chilled stay, clean facilities and grounds. In a perfect location for a very short stroll to a lovely beach. Would stay here again!

Μου άρεσε: Location, close to the beach & some nice pubs in the village

Δεν μου άρεσε: Shower & toilet facilities were very poor, having paid £40 + £3 for the dog for one night we expected clean modern facilities. We paid £22 for a campsite near Sheringham which were of better standard. The drinking water was cloudy not clear so had to buy some which we don’t like doing due to unnecessary use of plastic! Our pitch had remnants of the previous users with cigarette butts & bottle tops strewn across the grass. We find it hard to believe the reviews for this site scoring 10/10, this site is double the price that it should.

We have many 10/10 reviews, our campers like our back to basic camping and relaxed attitude, the freedom to bring a dog and have a fire while spending time so close to the coast. We are sorry that you will not return, it was a pleasure to host you all the same :)

Μου άρεσε: Close proximity to the beach and a couple of good public footpaths. Friendly site team/owners. We like the hens freely walking around the place. One cheeky hen ate some of our dog's dinner and she was happy to be handled! Free metal bin lids and bricks provided for fire pits.

Δεν μου άρεσε: The ground at our plot was very uneven. I wonder if there are plans to flatten it and re-grass out of season.

Μου άρεσε: Easy to find, very friendly, camped out of the wind, clean toilets & showers with warm water.
