Campeggio Al Lago

This high-up part of Trentino is heavenly land for hikers and mountain bikers as well as watersporters who can launch canoes and rowing and sailing boats from the nearby beach. Splendid cultural sights and sites are within well easy reach, like the Pile-dwelling Museum of Lake Ledro, a mega important prehistoric site four kilometres away. Within ten minutes' walk is the Garibaldi and First World War Museum, set where Italians and Austrians fought to defend the territory in World War I. A bit further afield and by car, get along to MUSE, one of Italy's top science museums, and MART, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto. Events and entertainment are held in Campeggio Al Lago's valley every week and Lake Garda is 15 minutes' drive away.
