Positiv: On arrival, the friendliness of the owner and thoughtfulness, was fab. We booked a grass pitch for our van (not motorhome) and Huw was so thoughtful... considering 'which was the sun would rise, in conjunction to our van setup. Great home or locally made produce was available too. Facilities are simple but ample and clean. This is a great location for people who want to enjoy the more peaceful side of camping :-)

Positiv: An absolute hidden gem, amazing wildlife, peaceful and relaxing surroundings, which made for the perfect child free weekend. The campsite is safe, well kept with clean amenities and a lovely little honesty shed with local supplies including meat from Huw’s farm, which was beautiful! Huw, the owner was so accommodating and really lovely to chat to, we thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at such a beautiful place and will definitely look to return to our new found, little place of sanctuary!

Positiv: Really friendly chatty owner, we paid for a grass pitch but he upgraded us to a hard standing pitch for our van which was absolutely perfect due to the poor weather. Toilets and showers were so nice and spotless!! Had an absolutely lovely stay.

Positiv: Where do I start? Huw is an amazing host, funny, welcoming and knowledgeable about the wildlife. He even went to pick me some super fresh eggs laid on the day. The little honesty shop is a nice touch. Great bacon and all meat produce is from Huw’s farm. The site is super safe with easy to open gates which are there for practical and safety reasons. Made me feel very safe at night. The toilets are clean and nicely done. The shower was a very welcome addition as I had been two days wild camping prior to this. Shower was clean and hot. The pitches are a VERY good size. Much larger than anything we have seen. The views from the pitch are beautiful. We spent the afternoon watching the farmer collect his grass from two fields opposite in the distance. Was so relaxing. I literally can’t wait to go back to the Marsh. Hopefully for longer this time.

Positiv: Perfectly placed site with good access to the area. Small, quiet site with great little on site shop selling local produce. Huw, the owner, is very approachable and knowledgeable about the local area. Toilet and shower clean and well maintained.

Negativ: Not a dislike, but another toilet would be a bonus.
