Positiv: The facilities are clean, there’s a playground, indoor swimming pool and arcade you can use.

Negativ: We went for a camping with our friends and we requested to be next to each other which they agreed when we booked and then on the day that we arrived they put us initially away from their pitch, good that there’s available slot on our friend side, but what if it’s accommodate as well? You need to pay for your shower!

Positiv: Well maintained campsite. Toilet and washing area are very clean. Swimming pool and playground are within walking distance.

Negativ: Noise, noise, noise. Flat area, too close to the main road , cars / bike Rev sounds really disturbing. We've told to be pitched next to some else but there were 80% unoccupied

Vom Platzbetreiber: Thanks for your feedback - however we dispute your 'dislikes'. The camping field is located at the back of the park, well away from the road, with a quiet riverside location.

Positiv: Large flat pitch, nice view, easy access to site, new facilities, Looks like a brand new camping site.

Negativ: First of all using shower is chargeable. It cost £1 for 10min. Very little information on arrival. We booked with our family and requested via email pitches next to each other. The lady who served us on reception hasn't got enough knowledge to deal with our request. We have been sent to the warden to resolve this issue. It turns out that it wasn't an issue at all for warden to swap the pitch. It just seems reception is not up to a expected standard. The camping site needs elsan point as well as closest one was about 200m away.

Positiv: Good sized pitches, nice new, clean toilets/showers. A really good setup for a new campsite. Also, very picturesque, with easy access to the riverside alongside the Axe. Excellent choice of drinks in the bar, all quite fairly priced. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Negativ: The shower trays are too shallow so the area directly outside gets very wet and slippery. The tokens used to operate the shower start counting down as soon as you insert it, meaning you don't get the full 10 mins. Could do with a 15-20 second delay before the timer starts. The chemical waste disposal is too far away from the campsite so installation of a suitable alternative would be useful.

Positiv: The site was beautiful and not busy at all. Showers & toilet block was perfect and less than a minute stroll from where we were pitched. The swimming pool was fabulous for my children as were the two parks. A 7 minute drive got us to the beach in Weston super mare. Overall it was a fabulous stay and we would definitely return.
