Thorpe Hall Caravan and Camping Site

Positiv: Well manicured grass pitches and pitches were a very good size. Plenty of fresh water & grey water stations. Staff I spoke to were very polite and keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Toilet block was always clean and tidy. Ample washing up sinks. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Negativ: Toilets seemed quite low. Shop hours quite limited.

That aside we're pleased it didn't impact your stay and that you'd recommend us/consider visiting again. We hope to welcome you back in the future...until then, happy touring :-) For readers considering a stay with us it's worth noting that the shop and reception are managed by just one person so it's not possible to be open all day, everyday. However, minimum opening hours are displayed on the door of the shop/office (though we are often open much longer hours during busy times i.e. Fridays, Saturdays, Bank Holidays) If we are closed there are local Supermarkets a 10-15 minute drive away and a community shop in the village.

We're glad you liked the site and hope to welcome you back again in the future:-) For readers considering a stay with us we have a small childrens' play area and a very large games field for ball games, kite flying etc. The shop and office is manned by just one person which is why it's not open all day, every day. Please refer to the opening hours on the door of the shop and in the facilities block (also online) However, most Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays the shop will be open all day.

Positiv: Loved this site. Facilities very clean the owners were very friendly and helpful. The recommendation for the pub down the road for food was brilliant. Location was fantastic for us only a 12min drive to Bridlington. Will definitely be returning.

Negativ: The WiFi hit and miss but the owners said this to us was nice not to have it really.

Positiv: Great communication from the owners with useful information in advance of our stay. Quiet location in beautiful surroundings. One of the best toilet and shower blocks we encountered on our trip.

Positiv: Really nice touring caravan site location and pitches. Plenty of space between pitches and the instructions on how to set up made sense. Specific field for playing games and walking the dog which was great. Toilet and all facilities clean and well maintained.
