Positiv: Lovely view of the fields in the distance Quite location close to the small village

Negativ: Quite location however can occasionally hear the horn of trains on the nearby train line

Positiv: Nothing

Negativ: This is RAT infested ate through my plastic tubs that had my food in. Then we found them in my sons car enginea along with the food they took. They ate through my brand new tent. Was supposed to stay 2 nights but only stayed 1 night as my wife's nerves were shot from the night before as the rats was running around the tent as well as over my self and my wife. Would not recommend. It was appalling. Should have been told about rats. Should also be given our money back and compensation for my tent that was brand new only bought it in the Friday morning before we came. My son and his girlfriend and her parents also had problems with the rats...DO NOT GO HERE!!

Vom Platzbetreiber: Wow. No one said anything whilst you were here all weekend? Also others guests didn't appear to have any issues. Nor did you say anything when we checked with you Saturday morning. In fact we were told "it's all great!" . This comes across as malicious and extreme - don't know why?? Others on the same time didn't report anything either. You have in your scores - marked for things we don't offer, so can't really take this seriously. Such a shame after numerous 10/10's and so many repeat visitors.

Positiv: Great little adult only campsite with electric on a working farm on the edge of a lovely village. In walking distance walk to the train station to the coast, shops and 3 pubs. Very friendly and helpful owner. Would definitely stay again.

Positiv: Space and location.

Negativ: Noise. Train line very near and ran 6am to 10pm. Also grain dryers running all night . Noisiest field ever stopped in.

Vom Platzbetreiber: Sorry you felt that way. We haven't heard this from anyone else - as can be seen by other reviews. We have a large number of repeat visitors and you will have seen how popular we are when you were here. Not sure what you mean about grain dryers as there aren't any nearby. Trains can be heard at times but people often come specifically for the convenience of the train - the location of which is mentioned in the site details. We note you have scored for things we don't offer offer so not sure where those scores came from!?. Child friendly low score ? Adult only site. We don't say anything about good Wi-Fi either etc. etc. You obviously didn't like it, but didn't mention anything at the time during your whole stay (no issues raised whilst you were here and you chose not to leave early). Can't please all the people all the time!

Positiv: Nice flat field west facing, electric hook ups.

Negativ: Facilities were adequate but basic

Positiv: Ian was very welcoming. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the countryside. Plenty of space. Easy walk to train station and village.

Negativ: Bathroom very basic but quite useable.

Positiv: Very basic as expected would have been beneficial for the toilet to have been working in the field . Farmer came over to welcome us Needs a little more DIY , but clean

Vom Platzbetreiber: Sorry about the toilet in the field - we discovered someone hadn't been exactly well behaved that day! Yes we are a basic site, but we hope our descriptions and pricing reflect that. However, good to see you would be happy to recommend and visit again.

Positiv: Great small site, electric, good space for a bigger tent. Lovely friendly owners, 5 minutes to the train station for Bridlington so we could leave the car. Toilet functional (all you need). Again love the small, quiet site, sheep in one field, cows in the next.

Negativ: Did go to use the toilet on the field once but wasn't working, looked like someone had damaged it. Can't blame owners for that. 2 couples decided to have their own domestics on the same night for a few hours. Shouting and swearing but again not the owners fault. Silly behaviour from grown adults.
