Positiv: Absolutely fantastic site, Facilities clean and tidy, Woodys was very nice even got treats for the dog from the staff. We had take away pizza on Saturday evening which was as good as any I've had from pizza firms...... Dog thoroughly enjoyed his walks through the woods and lakes and he covered pretty much all of the 72 acres..... We will definitely be going back this year for a longer stay.

Positiv: Lovely setting. Really helpful staff. We had an unlucky weekend that saw problems with both our car and caravan. The staff on site were really helpful.

Positiv: Beautiful lake views. Friendly staff at Woodys bar on site

Negativ: Poor WiFi and tv signal. The laundry facilities do not work properly, we were visiting this site for 5 night having come from 2 previous sites so needed to get some laundry done but unfortunately the 2 domestic washing machines do not rinse and drain the clothes properly leaving them soaking wet. Luckily we bumped into a lovely member of staff who offered to spin and dry the 2 loads personally using her own facilities! A site this big could really benefit from updating this for future reference.

Positiv: Nice site and lovely grounds and lake to walk round On site pub and restaurant was very good and reasonably priced Clean showers and restrooms Family wash/shower/toilet rooms were a bonus

Positiv: We liked the walk we took around the lake. BUT FIRST IMPRESSIONS COUNT… customer service needs attention.

Negativ: Customer service is terrible :- Arrived to someone shouting “can I help you”and after telling who we’d booked through and not knowing where to go. “Apparently that’s Pitchup for you”… not providing any email address” so they can’t send anything directly from the site ( it was on the receipt he gave me).Got the impression that if you book via Pitchup you’re not really welcome told me “you’re best ringing next time you want to book”. Every site I have booked through pitchup has contacted me via email. He did mention though it might be best to book a table if we wanted to eat in the pub. We did go into the pub for a drink and decided to book a table to be told “no need there’s plenty of room”, 5 minutes later someone asked about booking a table and he said “yes I can do that”…. NO we didn’t go back to have anything to eat. If you have a permanent pitch or a regular you get different treatment. Only 1 shower block was open, it was clean but the cubicle I used the water took along time to run away actually ran over the shower tray.

Positiv: Good sized pitch with lovely view. Well maintenaned grounds. Excellent facilities, toilets and showers very clean. Staff very polite and helpful. On-site bar entertainment excellent, again staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Will definitely return and also highly recommend to family and friends. Have booked again for later in the season. Thank you Woodland Waters
