Syntes om Campsite itself on arrival looks lovely and well kept.

Everything is dated, old or broken.
There seems to be no rules around site most sites have a noise quiet time rule, this place doesn’t and there is no one there to enforce anything. Stayed three nights every night people were screaming shouting running down the sides of the tents blaring music out till 0100 hours.

Syntes om Lovely site with nice little swimming pool for the children. Our pitch was away from the electric box but they lent us an extension cable with no trouble as our cable wasn’t long enough. Nice little games room but dated. Nice to have a bar and lovely to have the animals. Easy to find off main road.

Syntes ikke om Signal was really bad and as you had to pay by bank transfer or cash was hard to get signal to pay on arrival, could rally done with WiFi or take card payments. It also made it hard for booking days out having no signal. Showers are dated and wasn’t the cleanest.

Syntes om Like everything, lovely and quiet not normally able to get a lie in at a camp site but surprisingly easy at this site, nice people and welcoming, kids loved it and really well situated for Padstow and Wadebridge, Newquay not far either

Kids loved the pool and the mini ponies, and you can get a decent (cheap) pint.

Syntes om Located in the Cornish countryside but only 30 minutes from Newquay 20 minutes to Padstow & within 10/15 minutes of beautiful beaches I did read reviews on TripAdvisor about this campsite B4 I booked it a yes the toilet & the shower block is old &yes one of the showers in the men's toy have to keep pushing the button every 10 seconds but it did the job the other shower works fine.
There is a small pool the kids loved it's perfect for little one's to cool of in & yes it's freezing as I went in with my to children but once your in it's fine I would return to the campsite again. I Didn't have much phone signal at the campsite but to be honest I didn't mind either

Syntes om Pitch sizes are relatively large,
Showers/toilets were clean
Calm and peaceful atmosphere
Site owners are very friendly and welcoming
Phone signal is very hit or miss, but you can get it enough to make a call if you go to the club bar.
Safe enough for the kids to go play
Site games organised by regular returning guests was really nice to see as everyone joined in.
The pools pretty shallow and fenced off so no worries of unnecessary accidents
Some reviews state the shower blocks/games room are dated- this I agree with BUT they are clean and definitely do the job, the kids all seem to love it here they all just seem to make friends and play together(not an iPad or phone in sight)

It has everything you need for a campsite and the price is very affordable. We did 3 nights and it didn’t feel like enough so we have booked for a week next summer

Syntes ikke om Absolutely no reflection on the site but the roads are really tight and narrow if you follow the directions of the sat nav to go exploring what’s around the area. use your maps to avoid the small narrow roads and stick to main A roads where possible all down the side of our van is scratched
