Syntes om Stayed here last summer and couldn't wait to return. Once again it did not disappoint. Lovely, chilled location with great staff. Very clean and tidy accommodation and facilities too. Will definitely be returning again.

Syntes om We had, a lovely stay at Heathside. The facilities were lovely and clean although it was small, we never had to wait to use the showers or toilets. The shop is well stocked and very reasonable in price. The space around the site is excellent. Our son has additional needs and can get overwhelmed in crowded spaces however this never felt the case. There is a table tennis, tennis net and football goals along with a beautiful nature trail. We would highly reccomend it as it was peaceful and well run. There is also a lot near by to explore.

Syntes om Great camp - so much space for the children to play, shop on site was not overpriced. Nice clean bathrooms and washing up areas - would highly recommend.

Syntes om Karen and the team were really welcoming. Facilities were clean, well maintained and large pitches. Location just outside of Southwold is perfect.

Syntes om Really generous sized pitches, plenty of privacy between pitches with bushes and trees also offering shade. Facilities were great, clean and tidy. Like many reviews, the toilet block wasn’t massive but didn’t have to once wait for anything so not an issue at all. Shop was really well priced and well stocked too considering it’s an onsite shop. Lovely big area for children to play as well. Can’t wait to book again.

Syntes om The scenery and setting of the establishment. It was set back in quite a quiet country road, very little traffic. The grounds were relatively well kept. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The mattress was surprisingly comfortable. The temperature of both the tap and shower were fantastic. And a lovely view from our cabin. The room was spotless for the most part, except the mirror was slightly oily and dirty.

Syntes ikke om While I'm trying not to be nitpicky there were a number of issues with the cabin itself that may just be an isolated issue. We stayed in cabin 9 for context. So, the toilet seat was already loose when we arrived and broken off of one of the attachments. The door to the bathroom, despite having a lock, didn't lock. The door to the cabin whilst did lock, couldn't be left unlocked as it wouldnt remain shut, it was ajar, unless you applied great force to lock it. The blinds were filthy, with what I thought was blood stains or potentially just simple dirt marks but who's to say.

We also arrived under the pretense (as advertised) that BBQs were allowed. While I understand we're experiencing a drought and there's fear of wildfires, so a ban or apprehension towards is completely warranted. No message or notification of this was made to us until we'd arrived, checked in and was already too late. A slip of paper was on the table saying "sorry, no BBQs allowed at the moment." Like I say, whilst this is understandable, this should've been conveyed earlier than check in.

The wifi at this accommodation is non existent. You had to stand next to their wifi extender to receive just 1 bar, which quite honestly was no good. Not to mention the wifi didn't extend beyond a 3ft radius.

And one final nitpick. Yes its nature, yes its camping, but the seal on the door was non existent, there were ants parading across the floor, grass hoppers that managed to enter the room all while the door was locked and the accommodation empty.

Syntes om The whole campsite is very open , spacious, well kept and organised. Everything available is easily accessible. We had a fully serviced pitch with electric and water. The shop is exceptionally well stocked,
