Em va agradar Simple, quiet and low cost site just what i needed on a late arrival and early departure one night stopover

No em va agradar I'd accept that if anything was better the site would probably be more expensive! There was a little litter left around and in the fire pit by previous (lazy) campers which was a shame but didn't spoil the night for me.

Em va agradar Small but very friendly site, beautiful views and location. Basic but good facilities.

Em va agradar Decent pub in nearby village. Flat pitches.

No em va agradar Sewerage smell in places near the toilets. Shower temperature adjustment stuck on very hot.

We are in the process of investigating the smell from the toilet block and we will get the shower temperatures checked. Barleylands is very much a family themed attraction, however we have our craft village nearby which offers many different types of interests including glassblowing and pottery and we also haveEscape beauty on site. We appreciate that not every campsite will always be the preferred campsite for each and every guest, however we do pride ourselves on our excellent nearby facilities, transport connections and proximity to Essex countryside and coastline.

Em va agradar By the river, great welcoming owners, able to swim and fish in the river (no showers). Great location quite remote but felt friendly. Fed the lovely alpacas. Tent and clamping pitches looked good! Great pub on the site.
