Em va agradar The lovely family that ran the place. The town was amazing and so welcoming. Good food at the local restaurant. There was a pool. The plots were nice and shady.

Em va agradar There is lots of shade from the mature trees on the site. Well looked after by a family that work incredibly hard. Quiet and relaxing. A bar/restaurant but you need to order your food 2 hours before eating. A well maintained swimming pool ideal for cooling down in the heat. Lots for kids to do. 2 minutes walk from the Dordogne river.

No em va agradar The showers got very busy between 6 & 7pm, so just avoid those times.

Em va agradar The size of the pitches. The Dutch couple that ran the site. You could order pizza for tea. You were right next to a lovely lake. The toilets were well kept and not too busy.

Em va agradar The size of our pitch was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lake was great for swimming and paddle boarding.

No em va agradar There was an issue with vandalism on the site meaning the access gate to the lake had to be locked and half of the toilet block was closed down. The staff were so thin on the ground that you were lucky to find anyone at reception.

Em va agradar Large, quiet site with the opportunity to have a fire. Simple but functional set up - some creative use of farming equipment to create facilities! - Well impressed!

Em va agradar It was stunning and peaceful. The lake was quite low due to the hot weather, so you could see the carp swimming around. This site is immaculately kept. The toilet block looks brand new. In my total 13 years of camping this has got to be the best site I have ever stopped at. The pitches are really well spaced out, there has been not attempt to cram everyone in. To top it all my milk had gone off, so the couple that run it gave me some of there's. They really couldn't do enough for us. Thank you so much!!!

Em va agradar A new small site. On a farm so plenty of animals to see. Very quiet and peaceful. Owners were very welcoming a flexible about when we left. Fantastic walk on the Saturday to Gisburn.
