Em va agradar Lovely welcome from Chris. Great pitch with view of the river. Easy walk to a great pub too! The shower/toilet facilities were clean and would have been excellent with the kids (if we’d brought them!) as they were spacious rooms with shower, sink and toilet-and plenty of hanging space which can be in short supply in many sites.

Em va agradar Ease of arriving and pitching up - ideal site for the Channel Tunnel, especially if you are leaving early. Great bar and brasserie to make things easier for a one night stay-no washing up required! And the pool for a quick dip for the kids was brilliant too.

Em va agradar Lovely staff, great little bar and loads of board games for the kids. They also had really good optional activities like bracelet making and galactic lasers! The swimming pool was heated and all was very clean. The pitch was a good size with a good balance of shade and sunny spaces. There was an option to order croissants and baguettes for the morning as well. It was really simple but well done-couldn’t fault it for the price.

No em va agradar It would have been just a bit better if the pitches had water at them (we’ve been spoiled at other sites!) but the tap was literally 2m away so really an issue of laziness!

Em va agradar The staff were really friendly and the facilities were good. They showers/toilets were unisex which made it much easier for us to clean the kids! The pool was close and, as it is the municipal pool for the town, had excellent facilities and a lifeguard on duty. The reception tent was really well stocked with golf clubs for mini golf, food basics and also lots of leaflets and maps of things to do and routes to walk. The WiFi was also really good and v reasonably priced. The town itself was BEAUTIFUL!! We had the best ice cream of the holiday there and the longer walk along the river was brill. From the site we also visited the 24hr Le Mans museum (just under an hour away) and the caves at St Saulges - excellent English language tour. We had a really lovely few days at Glamping Sainte Suzanne and will definitely stay again if we visit the area in future.

No em va agradar The pitch was surrounded by hedging which was good but unfortunately they were very thorny and we had lots of spiky sticks all over the pitch which we found when they embedded in our shoes! But once we cleared them, it was fine. The ground was also really hard and we ended up with 1 tent peg we just could not get out. The toilet disposal did not have a hose with it to wash out our toilet container which was also less than ideal.
