Em va agradar Very convenient close to Bremen. Easy to book. Easy to find. Going in and out was simple. There is an Ikea across the road.

No em va agradar We couldn’t find a water tap on site

Em va agradar It is on a working farm. The automatic booking-in and payment was faultness. The toilets and showers were spotless, albeit a bit of a walk from the pitches. The outside vending machine with snacks looked good, although we didn’t use it. Very good for a stopover site or somewhere to relax. The cost was very reasonable.

Em va agradar It is a working farm. The site has been well thought out and the pitches are dry, despite the storm and torrential rain. The toilets and showers were clean and tidy.

No em va agradar I think that dutch people are taller than Welsh people! My wife couldn’t reach the hooks for clothes in the shower. 😁

Em va agradar Toilet block was clean. Staff and visitors were friendly. It was efficiently run. A short distance to Colchester by vehicle.

No em va agradar Calling it a country park is misleading. It’s an urban campsite with very little dog walking available - only along the road and between pitches. We didn’t find a way of walking to Colchester. Giving a distance as the crow flies is misleading and it doesn’t say you’d be walking along a dual carriageway. The road noise is intrusive, especially at night. The fast, busy road has a concrete surface with strips which make the noise worse. We cut short our stay from 2 nights to one.

Del gerent: Thank you for your review. You obviously missed the beautiful field and the vast woodland both a five minute walk from the site. Colchester City is about a 40 minute walk across open grassland or there are buses that run every 10 minutes. We are ideally situated for easy access to transport links.

Em va agradar Pitches were OK, but a bit narrow. Showers and toilets were clean with enough hot water. 4G reception was good.

No em va agradar There were no pegs in the showers to hang clothes, just 2 small hanging buckets. The shower spray reached the door, so it was difficilt to keep your clothes dry.

Del gerent: Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear you found the shower and toilet facilities clean with plenty of hot water, and that the 4G reception was good during your stay. We do appreciate your comments regarding the shower facilities and the lack of hooks for clothing. Guest feedback is incredibly important to us and helps us continue improving the experience for everyone staying with us. It is very much in our nature to listen to our guests and continue making improvements across the park wherever possible. We do hope to welcome you back again soon

Em va agradar Convenient location. Pleasant owner. Warm, clean toilets and shower (in January). Hard standing with electricity and water on the pitch.

No em va agradar The orchard grass was very wet - including standing water (it was after a very wet spell of weather) which resulted in wet feet when walking the dogs to go for a pee before going to bed (should have stuck to the road ! 😬).

Em va agradar Lovely spot next to a stream. Well kept - clean and tidy. Walking distance to a lovely pub.

No em va agradar Only one shower in the gents.

Em va agradar Clean & tidy. The showers were exceptional. The cafe was good. Food was good, if a little restricted. Staff were pleasant & helpful. It was nice to see the canal boats. Easy to manoeuvre and park. Plenty of space. Level pitches.

No em va agradar If I was being picky, it was a bit industrial. Could do with some hedges around the pitches.

Em va agradar Neat & tidy. Friendly staff. Well positioned for an overnight stop on the way up North.

Em va agradar Spectacular scenery. Walks from the campsite - with the dogs often off-lead. Great level pitches. Helpful staff.

No em va agradar The price of eating out in Switzerland 😳.

Em va agradar Huge site. Pitches large and surrounded by shrubs & trees. Dog walking off lead from the site. Helpful friendly staff. Level pitches.

No em va agradar The volume of the live entertainment was a bit much for us. The shower block could do with updating.

Em va agradar Nice views of the sea. Walking distance from the beach. Clean & tidy. Not TOO tidy - the occasional weed made the place feel relaxed. Good field and pond where the dogs could run off-lead. Level pitches.
