Em va agradar Almost everything. Really can’t complain about anything for £20 a night. On arrival we followed the sign which told us which pitch was ours. Pitches were a really good size with plenty of space in front. The site was a nice size. Location was good, pretty central to all the main sights. Toilet block was fine. Just remember to take a towel to dry your hands as there is no hand dryer or paper towels. Showers were ok, hot enough. 3 toilets and 3 showers in each. Had a lovely few days despite the showers. Didn’t meet the owners so can’t comment

Em va agradar Everything. I’m not into fishing but booked a night away locally so my husband could have some time relaxing. Shop was extremely well stocked, the chap on the desk very nice and helpful. Toilets were clean. Didn’t use shower as just there for the night. Hubby enjoyed fishing and caught quite a few. Drove into Sherborne for the chippy. Liked that you could pitch where you liked, then up and leave when you liked. Great value for money.

Em va agradar Everything! Fabulous hosts. We arrived to a warm welcome. Susan and Roly were so helpful. Roly makes a really lovely sour dough loaf. We had the option to purchase fresh eggs, bacon and yogurts. The bell tent was great, carpeted, big comfy bed. Plenty of extra duvets and blankets. Loved the little touches like the lanterns and books. The views were stunning. The location feels quite remote but we visited Bude, Torquay, Paignton and Teignmouth. All within an hour. Had the weather been better we would have stayed on site more and chilled by the tent. The shower and toilet was quirky. We were able to have warm showers. Kitchen areas were well equipped.

Em va agradar Everything. Run by a lovely friendly family who were very helpful! Toilets and showers clean. Plenty of hot water in the showers. We didn’t participate in the evening activities due to toddler being asleep but I heard plenty of laughter coming from the bar! Loved the pigs who amused us with their snoring. Location was stunning, very quiet apart from the mooing from the cows in the farm next door which I love! New quay is a must to visit. We saw wild dolphins and seals. Wish the weather had been better for us but still managed time on the beach. No WiFi where we were pitched but that was a blessing!

No em va agradar If I’m being fussy could have done with a toilet block a bit closer when pitched in the non electric field.

Em va agradar Really warm welcome on arrival, we were able to choose our pitch so chose one overlooking the cows in field opposite. Beautiful views, lots of animals. Showers and toilets were clean. Parks were well kept. Good location, close to dartmoor, haytor is a must. Didn't do any of the evening entertainment so can't comment!didnt notice the road noise after a while.

Em va agradar The view of the sea and hills were stunning. We could choose our pitch which was great. The owners were friendly and very helpful. The location was great, a 10 minute walk down to the rocky sea where we went crabbing. Walking down to the sea was a little steep but fine for our two children who were 4 and 7. We didn't go into the smugglers cove pub so can't comment. It was about 15 minute drive into Weymouth which has a beautiful beach and loads to do. We went to the tank museum as my son is tank mad, but that only took up a morning. The site was clean and had a nice park and a little shop with the basics. Showers were ok, the block at the top of the hill, the showers were cold but bigger with an area for changing, but the showers at the bottom of the site were hot though smaller. Plenty of showers and sinks.
