Em va agradar The pitch was massive for a VW campervan Clubhouse was amazing but not sure wether it would be bigger enough for peak season But we went on a quiet time and the entertainment person done very well for how little people were there Shower and blocks nice and clean

No em va agradar The spar shop on site could have been opened longer as if you turn up late you wouldn't be able to get anything

Em va agradar Well kept site and lovely and clean Shower and toilet block lovely and modern and spotless 3 pubs and a shop easy walking distance Was double booked on camp site but was very quickly restored, thanks to the warren on site Only 15 mins taxi ride to the center of york

No em va agradar The on site restaurant was very confusing on opening times as the website said it was closed Monday but walked back on site and it was open?

Em va agradar Leaving the site

No em va agradar Reception closed when we arrived, had to wait nearly 30mins to be seen , arrived at 15.30 so not really late for check in time Pitch not marked at all so didn't really know where to pitch up Miles away for toilets, showers and clubhouse Refused to use portal toilet near us The showers were closed when we arrived as well so couldn't have a shower if we wanted one Left after a 1hour and went and check into a travel lodge Wouldn't recommend to anyone! Been to many sites and I thought this was our worst one

No em va agradar Only one shower , so could do with another one A lot of geese mess on site , (I know this can't be helped but not very nice)

Em va agradar Club house nice , a bit of light entertainment Food was good Pitches flat Showers blocks clean

No em va agradar So not happy that couldn't go in swimming pool as they don't open on a Friday , which when we only stayed for one night , I feel that there should be a discount as I'm not getting the full facilities that you say you provide! Pitches quite small felt very hended in

Em va agradar Club house was really good , staff were excellent 👍 so funny and friendly Lovely view but unfortunately didn't have the weather to enjoy it

No em va agradar Unfortunately had a pitch under tree so campervan was covered in pterodactyl poo! Definitely need chocks as pitches are sloping Did not like that the toilet blocks where in the middle of the static caravans which have they own facilities so we had to walk further to them

Em va agradar Club house really good Swimming pool really nice Site was well maintained Showers blocks clean and modern

No em va agradar Speed bumps on site needed to be repainted as walking back from the club house in dark was hard to see Slight slope but if you have got chocks no problems Beware tight country road to get to camp site , not the camp site fault but just to be made aware of

Em va agradar Club house was very good , nice food as well Toilet and shower blocks clean Was lucky we got one of the flat pitches

No em va agradar There is a lot of slopes on the other pitches definitely need chocks for that Shame the pool was shut as well Nowhere to walk so ok if you just wanted to stay on site

Em va agradar Shower block and toilets spotless Nice and friendly staff at clubhouse and reception Nice size pitch but unfortunately not all level

No em va agradar Not allocated pitch , so was worried if we went out for the day we would lose our pitch

Em va agradar Pitch very flat Toilets clean and nice hot shower Food amazing 5 star ⭐

No em va agradar Non electric pitch far from toilet block Low shower pressure Could do with more seating area in the pub when the weather isn't great

Del gerent: Hi thank you for your feedback and your lovely comments, We do ah e planning permission for another toilet block near non electric unfortuanlty with the current financial climate this is not something we can invest in, this is why we have kept our non electric pitch’s so very cheap per night, I’m afriad it is not possible to put any more seating within the pub as we only have so much room and we have to leave space for saftey reasons an maximum capacities, This I’m afriad is just the limitations we are faced with being a family owned pub and campsite rather than a massive chain pub, and the pub being from the 1800s we are limited to what we are allowed to do Thankyou for your comment though
