Em va agradar ... added an extra nights stay to previous booking, enjoyed myself so much on a previous solo stay I picked up the Mrs & the dog to join me on the Saturday. We loved the views and relaxing on site.

Em va agradar Great location. Beautiful views. Friendly alpacas on site. Situated perfectly for a mix of rural walks / hikes and accessible local amenities, plenty of pubs and convenience shops within walking distance (or by car if you don't like walking). Basic but clean facilities, first off grid site I've found to have a shower. The site is off grid, which is outlined in the site description. But the grounds are nicely kept. A trainline runs by the foot of the site, no complaints from me, I enjoyed watching the trains occasionally pass by steadily... and for the majority of the night the site was peaceful and quite for a great nights sleep. Great bit of stargazing to be had on a clear night as well.

Em va agradar Another great stay at Gwenfro Valley. This time with my friend and his son, who both loved the wild camping experience and exploring the site. Nick the site owner friendly as always, top bloke.

Em va agradar First time tent camping at Hadley Park (stayed in pod on previous visits) The site is as brilliant as ever. With a few recent small developments, great to see a fantastic site being well maintained. Lovely view of the fishing pond, which is in great shape. Saw some big healthy fish being landed by some of the fellas fishing there. Great for dogs with 2 onsite dog fields / runs. Look forward to visiting again later in the year.

Em va agradar Fantastic site. Great local walks and scenery right on the doorstep. Great views from the site itself also, a lovely setting. The Alpacas & Peacocks roaming around are good fun.

Em va agradar Had the entire site to myself and my dog (don't blame people skipping camping this weekend during storms) but it made for an extra peaceful bit of time alone & extra freedom for the mutt :) Unique mix of facilities: Comfortable Shepherds Hut, extremely comfy and spacious double bed. Separate private bathroom in converted horse box (cool and quirky) nice and clean with hot running water. Covered outdoor outdoor kitchen area. BBQ & fire pit and some firewood also provided. Crisps and local apple juice provided on arrival and milk in fridge. Nice collection of books and a good welcome pack with info on local walks. Also had menus / contacts for local take aways which delivered to site, which was really handy in a remote location during bad weather. Would normally cook outdoors but the food delivery services were a god send during Storm Amy. The site is located within some great local scenery. set among local orchards. Our neighbours, the sheep in the next field were nice to see. Great drives out into the Shropshire hills & Ludlow nearby.

No em va agradar not a dislike, but took a while to find the fridge.. it's situated externally behind the kitchen unit... just an FYI for future guests

Em va agradar Second time staying in Gwenfro Valley. Excellent stay again. Didnt see Nick this time but he was as helpful as ever via text. The site made a great base to head out for a hike exploring the Ruabon Moors / Esclusham mountain. Followed by a couple of pints in Coedpoeth & then back to camp to cook & relax by the fire before sleeping in the woods.

Em va agradar Third time visiting this site, and it was another great stay @ Hadley Park. Although a busy bank holiday weekend it was a mostly peaceful stay, with pleasant neighbours. The washrooms remained clean and well respected by all. A consistently pleasant atmosphere. The sheep visiting the neighbouring field made for a nice backdrop.

Em va agradar Beautiful & peaceful valley, woodland setting. Allsorts of pitches, terrain & landscapes on site, really fun to explore. Felt away from everything, yet local amenities were a short walk away. Relaxing at night sitting by the fire with the dog, listening to The River Gwenfro flow by. Nick the owner is really friendly & helpful.The site he's created is great, he even kindly sorted some extra logs for the fire, as he was on site the 1st evening of our stay.

Em va agradar Our pod was clean and spacious. Toilet/Shower block well equipped and clean. Peaceful campsite. Lake view from pod. On site dog park. Pleasant canal side walk just behind the site. Friendly and welcoming hosts.
