Em va agradar This was such an unexpectedly great site! Just stayed one night before Asterix, both the guys running this place are brilliant. Very friendly. Nice atmosphere with other happy campers. Extremely clean shower block with warm water. a very clean AIR CONDITIONED! restaurant / cafe with bar and games. Very good value for money! Will definitely come back here and stay 2 nights next time when in the area. We stayed at a variety of sites on our trip and sometimes it’s the simple cheaper ones which surprise you & have a really nice vibe. Play area well positioned in front of bar / cafe terrace so kids are in view while you have a drink. Campsite dog very cute & friendly. Large pitch, private & other campers staggered around to increase privacy further.

Em va agradar Just over 1hr from Calais, Onsite bar / restaurant is good, leffe on draft & decent food. Kids play areas inc water / splash play zone in front of the outside seating area. Staff all seemed friendly enough. clean showers.

No em va agradar ANPR barrier and/or code didn’t work for us. The water tap is also located on the electricity hook up boxes 😂 Our hook up didn’t work however someone did visit eventually and tried to blame our cable when really it had just tripped (probably due to water ingress) not a big deal really.

No em va agradar The pool was very very busy & a bit tired in places. Bit slow in reception to get checked in.

Em va agradar 1 night stay, Very nice guy on arrival, who actually gave me a free (brand new) 10L water holder thing (thanks!) as I’d forgotten to fill up on arrival. Very Clean facilities, good playgrounds for kids. 30 min drive to lux city the next day.

No em va agradar Personally not a huge fan of the choose your own pitch system, particularly when no clear boundaries but not a big deal. book in advance essential if want to eat at the decent looking on site restaurant. Kids Splash park closed currently.

Em va agradar Perfectly fine stopover for 1 night, nice friendly guy running the site, option to order bread. Reasonably close to Nigloland, or could be ok if working your way north to Calais from the south of France / Switzerland etc.

No em va agradar Be aware the local shop in the village closes at 12:30pm. Very rural location so bear this in mind. You will need the old French electricity adaptor to use hook up here.

Em va agradar Small family site, Location suited us as was in the middle of our previous site and Dunkirk. Staff friendly & helpful. Showers (€1) worked well & clean. WiFi didn’t work for us due to apple security.

No em va agradar Absolutely not their fault but there was a huge amount of midges & mosquitos spawning presumably due to the farm location with lots of standing water around. This sort of spoilt the stay for us as a couple got in our van even through the fly nets.

Em va agradar Great (large) site, friendly & accommodating reception staff, stayed in the 1st week of April which was our (UK) school holidays but not in Netherlands. This meant we pretty much had the pool & slide to ourselves both days. The site was therefore very quiet which suited us. Bike hire available which we used. Spacious level pitches. Pizzas in the restaurant & staff there were also good. LOTS of playgrounds dotted around the site! Campervan / motorhome pitches close to the shower block (clean & individual portaloo type pods). Great really overall.

No em va agradar All printed info is in Dutch & Need to “translate” all info from the site “app” as no option to select English. Not the end of the world though. It is their country after all. Washing machines a bit pricey at €5.50 per wash and €5.50 per dry. Also ensure you follow the instructions and load / select the program first before tapping your card or you’ll receive an extra payment as we did. “Camperclean” (€2.50) system is a good idea for the black waste tank however it didn’t clean it 100% for us. could be down to user error though.

Em va agradar Arrived late-ish. The new managers were extremely friendly, always important……Everything explained & easy to access fresh water fill up. We used the on board shower as this was the first night out in our new (to us) motorhome, so can’t comment on the shower block. A Good overnight option to stop off enroute to Dover particually if you can get a working 230V supply. Site seemingly undergoing a refurb.

No em va agradar 230V hook up didn’t work for us, managers loaned us a new cable suggesting mine looked old, however still no power. Not too much of an issue for us as we had gas & the leisure battery could cope with a night without 230V. Created a bit of anxiety though thinking it could be another issue with our van…. However luckily all worked absolutely fine at every place we stayed for the next 9 nights so was definitely the site. Could be an issue is more reliant on hook up…..
