Hot untimed showers Clean facilities Lovely warm welcome Onsite cafe serving the best full English Farm shop with loads of goodies Little petting farm Loads of room Dark skies quiet. And incredible value for money. Ok it's not the flattest site I've ever stopped on, but with so much room I found a good spot and just pointed my van in the most comfortable position, as I'm far too lazy to use ramps. Don't get me wrong, this is not a ski slope just not completely flat

Em va agradar loads of room (ok I stopped on the tail of the season, but I should have thought that even in the height of he season it wouldn't feel crowded). The toilets and showers were perfectly adequate, ok they weren't the Hilton, but I wasn't paying Hilton prices and they did the job. Free range chickens on the site looked very happy and the eggs were great value for money and allowed be to enjoy them without feeling overly guilty. My little elderly dog loved having the exercise field all to himself. The host Rachel? / Rebecca? (sorry I'm terrible at remembering names) paid us a friendly visit to check we had all we needed. I like that level of service, rather than in your face every few hours. The site is at the side of Culdrose air base and on a fairly busy road, but to be honest the noise levels whilst I was there hardly registered and it was certainly much quieter than some of the parking lot caravan sites, where you can hear your neighbours knees creaking as they sit down I didn't need to leave the site but if you do, it's really conveniently situated, supermarkets are five minutes drive down the road in Helston. as are several jolly pubs and takeaways.

Em va agradar What a splendid little site, spotlessly clean and tidy, untimed really good showers, plenty of drinking water points, grey water dump and Elsan point. I parked up in the top field for a couple of reasons, it has lovely far reaching views towards St Agnes and over Falmouth towards the Roseland peninsula but mainly because it catches the wind. When gripped in the middle of a heatwave, having a constant gentle breeze blowing through the van was perfect. This is a quiet site, the hosts limit the number of campers so that nobody feels crowded, at the time of writing, I'm the only van in the top field and there are a couple of so in the bottom field. Michael the host, was really friendly, he pointed out the flat places, I wanted breeze more than a worrying about a bit of a slope. I don't much use ramps so I just orientated the van to make it comfortable. During my couple of nights stay, Michael called by a couple of times to check all was OK and just have a general chat, which is always nice. There is plenty of wildlife with rabbits coming out to play at dusk and dawn, loads of birdlife and according to the hosts visits from deer, foxes and badgers. Access wise, if heading from Falmouth, ignore the satnav which took me from the village end of rough road, which is very narrow. Much better to take the turn at the top of the village as recommended by the site. As for the location, Wesley House is around a 15 minute drive from the sheltered south coast beaches, restaurants etc in Falmouth,and around 20minutes from the north coast beaches at Porthtowen and Portreath, if surfing is your thing.

Em va agradar As the moon climbed slowly in an inky blue sky, I reclined in my chair and looked upwards to see a thousand stars looking back at me, punctuated only by the blazing trail of a shooting star as it traced its path across the night sky. Back at ground level, the popping and crackling of logs in the fire pit competed with chirping grasshoppers which would have given Mediterranean cicadas a run for their money. It's rare to find such peaceful places these days and as the dog and I watched dancing flames we could have been one of our ancestors 10,000 years ago. Lottie’s farm is a special place if you truly value peace, tranquillity and a tangible link to nature. I don't sleep well in unfamiliar surroundings and the little fella is on permanent guard duty, but we both slept as soundly as if we were back home. Lottie’s farm is a great location because it's off the tourist trail with far reaching views across the countryside but close enough to get to the beach at par sands within a 10minute car journey. The site owner was really friendly, telling me nice places to walk with the little fella; she even lent me her bbq as I'd forgotten to pack mine. There is a spotless portaloo on site and whilst there are no showers provided a couple of shower tents are available for anyone that has a solar shower or hand pumped pressure shower. There is fresh water available and a dish washing station, so for a basic campsite it has all the essential bases covered There is no electric hook-up which I see as a bonus as it keeps the noise levels down. This is the first year Lottie’s has opened as a pop up campsite and so it was quiet but it's a large field so I think even if it was busy campers would not be under each other’s feet. In summary it's a little gem in an often overlooked part of Cornwall

No em va agradar Not really much of a gripe but the site is on a slight slope and so a bit of thought needs to be given to the orientation of the sleeping mat
