Camping Zumaia

Em va agradar: Goed onderhouden camping met schoon sanitair. Vlakbij ligt een industrieterrein maar daar heb je geen last van. Zumaia is een leuk dorp, waar je zo bent met de fiets. Ook strand is dichtbij maar voor een hele dag raden wij Zarautz aan, parkeren in de parkeergarage Indigo aan het strand (wel vroeg gaan). Met de trein ben je in 40 min. in San Sebastián, fantastische stad!

No em va agradar: Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad vanwege de badmutsplicht. Verder is het campingwinkeltje erg duur.

Em va agradar: The atmosphere, very clean and tidy. Very helpful staff. First pitch offered was too small but very quickly resolved. Good restaurant and bar. Beaches lovely.

No em va agradar: TV in bar not very good, we were there during the European cup so wanted to watch one match. Approach to site is off putting being through a area of warehouses and what looked like like light industrial units. Swimming hats needed in pool, we don’t have them so didn’t use the pool. A real shame is the weather was lovely.

Del gerent: Thank you for your comment and evaluation. We are sorry that the quality of the TV in the restaurant was not good enough. In the camping store we have pool caps for those cases. On the other hand, there is a very pleasant walk along the river bank, without having to go through the industrial area. All the best.

Em va agradar: Site & bungalow were very clean, staff were friendly & you can order fresh bread from the shop. Bar/restaurant & shop on site. Zumaia is a lovely village & San Sebastian is a 30 minute drive & definitely worth a visit. Beds were comfy but bunkbeds, bit too old for a bunk bed haha. View from bungalow was nice as we were at the top of the hill.

No em va agradar: The campsite is in the middle of an industrial area, the bungalow Zumaia was very small, no toaster, no kettle & no oven. Campsite very hilly & cramped, not much privacy as you're so close to each other. Expensive compared to other campsites. Wifi no good.

Em va agradar: Easy access to the town and train station. Staff at train station very friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant very nice with friendly and helpful staff. Main shower and toilet facilities very good.

No em va agradar: Very steep access to the pitch and upper toilets and showers not nice compared to the main block (use the main block), also the waste water and chemical facility in an awkward spot. Pool was closed which we did not know until we paid. The pool only opens from June so for the retired and older group not good. Check before booking. Lesson learned

Em va agradar: Velmi se nám líbila upravenost kempu, čistota a zařízení. Příjemný je i menší obchůdek v campu, kde je možné si zakoupit i čerstvé pečivo po předchozí domluvě. Restaurace byla momentálně v rekonstrukci-zavřená. U stacího místa byla elektřina (za příplatek) a voda (zdarma). Toalety a sprchy krásné. Kemp je na kopci, je krásný výhled na okolí.

No em va agradar: Nevýhoda je dostupnost k moři či do města. Nikam jsme proto ani nešli.
