Figueira Caravan Park is a lovely site in the west Algarve. The site was created to provide a good night's sleep to guests travelling in their motorhomes and campervans through to the south of Portugal. This quiet site provides essential facilities at unbeatable price, including access to a water supply, electricity and waste water facilities, toilet and shower block. The caravan park is situated in the southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park - one of the largest and most beautiful natural parks in Portugal. Within the quiet village of Figueira, it's also just 1.4 km from the beach and has exclusive pedestrian access to the sand and sea. Free wifi is available on site.

Itineraris

If you are travelling along the A22 toll road in a westerly direction you should take the exit signed to Vila do Bispo and Lagos, which is junction 1. Keep following signs towards towards Vila do Bispo, which will take you on to the N125. Continue westwards along the N125 until you come to a roundabout that provides access to the vast Parque da Floresta villa development on the right and a small road signed towards Salema and Figueira from the left. Follow the signs towards Figueira and you will soon enter the village. Follow signs for the campsite or, in old fashioned way, ask for Figueira Caravan Park.

The peninsula of Sagres is well known for its surfing and watersports. The golf club Parque da Floresta with gym and wellness area is 2km from the campsite. Costa Vincentian Natural Park (PNSACV) is one of the largest and most beautiful natural parks in Portugal known for its biodiversity, countryside and beautiful beaches. The Vincentina coast is the coastal strip between Odeceixe and Burgau. Here, the preserved nature has a strong and wild character and the setting offers fabulous views over its rugged coastline.   Near Figueira Caravan Park you can also discover ancient Roman roads as well as many bike paths crossing the local valleys of the natural park. So don't forget to bring your bicycle with you!
