Facing both the North Sea and the wilds of the Westerschelde estuary, the Walcheren peninsula is often described as one of the prettiest parts of Zeeland. Siblu Duinzicht is a family-friendly site located a kilometre from the coast and a 15-minute drive from historic Middelburg, making it an excellent bolthole for breaks in this attractive area of the Netherlands. The park is about a 20-minute walk from Koudekerke village centre, where you'll come across restaurants, a bakery and handy public transport links. Back at base, this self self-contained park has top-notch facilities including a restaurant, a laundry room and kids' entertainment to keep you ticking over. There is also a small children's water park. Bring your own bicycles to get out to the beach, peaceful sand dunes, local nature reserves or popular fishing spots within a few minutes. Still at a loose end? Siblu Duinzicht is also a five-minute drive from a local swimming pool. The park is very close to Middelburg's many attractions too, including restaurants, grand canalside houses, the Lange Jan abbey tower and a well-regarded Thursday morning market.

No em va agradar Stellplatz extrem lieblos
Warmwasser bei dem Preis extra bezahlen
Es wird suggeriert, dass ein Restaurant vor Ort ist, dass dieses nur Do- So geöffnet hat, war nicht ersichtlich.
Noch nicht einmal die Möglichkeit Brötchen zu kaufen ist gegeben.
Es war der schlechteste und teuerste Stellplatz auf unserer Niederlande Rundreise.

Em va agradar Quiet as lodges empty, site really peaceful. Few minutes walk from the beach, excellent cycling routes. Facilities good, water electricity and waste disposal at the pitch. We were spoiled as no one else staying.

The Walcheren area has over 150 kilometres of cycle tracks to test out, so active excursions won't be a problem here. The routes are almost always mercifully flat, making ambitious day trips around the peninsula a much more accessible experience than elsewhere. After touring through the countryside at your own pace, head off-shore to try undersea diving at Westkapelle (15 minutes), the site of a number of shipwrecks dating from the Second World War. The area is dotted with other interesting relics from the 1940s, including a number of bunkers on the western outskirts of Koudekerke. Middelburg (15 minutes) has heaps of history too, but this town takes on a more contemporary feel in the warmer months when it plays host to music and cultural festivals. Modern attractions like escape rooms and cinemas can be found just alongside old buildings like the Lange Jan abbey tower and Kasteel Ter Hooge castle. For further city day trips, you could head over the border into Belgium to check out Antwerp's many sights (an hour) or stay here in the Netherlands and explore the attractive cobbled streets of Breda (an hour and 15 minutes).
