What a fabulous setting for a chilled-out holiday: EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand is right on the banks of the IJsselmeer in the popular town of Enkhuizen, at the westernmost tip of North Holland. And of course, there’s much to be said for being right by the water if you’re more in the mood for relaxation… take your towel along to the sandy beach just outside the park or settle in at a table on the site’s restaurant terrace for leisurely meals with a water view. When the time comes to leave the water behind for a while, there’s plenty more to keep you busy in the surrounding area. Start by strolling or cycling along to the historic centre of Enkhuizen to explore the canals, city walls and well-preserved buildings from the Golden Age. After that, Hoorn, Alkmaar and Medemblik all make good places for a day out. Back at base after your outing, handy facilities include a play area and go-kart rental to entertain the kids, hot showers and a launderette to keep everyone clean and a bread service so that you’ve always got something fresh for breakfast.

Em va agradar 24h Anreise möglich ohne Probleme durch Platz Zuweisung per Telefonicher Nachfrage.

No em va agradar Platz war nicht wie beschrieben mit See /Meer Blick, wir saßen eng an dem nächsten Standplatz vor riesen Steinen /Platz 126.
Überall extrem viele Mücken am Platz, sanitären Anlagen voll man saah kaum noch Wände vor lauter Mücken, WC waren nicht sauber, seife wurde nicht einmal aufgefüllt.
Das Restaurant in der Nähe, war unfreundlich unkompentend und unorganisiert.
Die Tische wurden nicht richtig sauber gemacht, auf Nachfrage für einen Aschenbecher bekamen wir vom Nachbar Tisch den vollen, auf bitten diesen zu säubern rollten die Augen in den Hinterkopf, bei Bestellung von zwei Cocktails mit stolzen 11€bekamen wir zuerst ein Glas, 15min später auf Nachfrage hieß es sie hätten die Zutaten nicht für den 2ten,darf hin einen anderen Cocktail bestellt der nicht dem entsprach was drinne sein müsste es war uns den egal....... Auch an den anderen Tischen lief so einiges schief von Getränken die über Hosen liefen, bis ein ganzes Tablett auf den Boden fiel und nicht weg gemacht wurde obwohl der Durchgangsverkehr kleiner Kinder dort statt fand, Gäste hoben das Glas auf und bieteten die Reste weg zu machen, darauf hin verging auch wieder Zeit bis sie mit dem kehrblech kam um den Rest der Scherben zu beseitigen. Wir würden nicht mehr kommen, sowie viele andere Gäste auch.

Em va agradar Excellent location and lovely outlook. We made the most of being so close to the water, enjoying swimming and paddleboarding. Showers and toilets kept clean.

No em va agradar It would be great to have a shop and cafe on site. Also there was no hand wash in the ladies toilets for our entire stay.

Em va agradar Super Blick aufs Wasser, tolle moderne Sanitäranlagen, immer sauber.
Freundliche Mitarbeiter und guter Stellplatz.

No em va agradar WLAN war nur so lala, vorhanden aber nur geringe Bandbreite und fiel öfter zwischendurch mal aus.

Em va agradar Very nice, medium-sized camper & bungalow area, perfectly located at the seaside. Walkable or cycleable to beautiful Enkhuizen city. Stuff is helpful and friendly. If possible, would love to come back again.

Em va agradar Beach. Clean showers

No em va agradar Beach and pool not on site as advertised. Felt the ad was misrepresented.
It was just a 2 sided car park
Advertisement said on site restaurant but there was not any at all.
On the whole very poor would not stay again. Defiantly not value for money. Very difficult to find the site

Em va agradar Der Blick auf das Marker Meer, der allerdings durch ein geparktes Auto vor dem Glamping-Bungalow verstellt war.
Schön war die Nähe zum Ort Enkhuizen, schnell mit dem Rad zu erreichen.

No em va agradar Der Platz ist für Wohnwagen vollkommen ungeeignet. Es gibt überhaupt keinen Schatten oder eine Rasenfläche.
Es herrschte eine große Mückenplage. Im zuständigen Waschhaus waren Wände und die Decke sowie Fliegengitter schwarz von Mücken.
Ab dem zweiten oder dritten Tag gab es dort auch kein warmes Wasser mehr. Mab musste in das Waschhaus der Bungalowsiedlung ausweichen.

Letzlich handelt es sich um einen Stellplatz für WoMos, auf den wir uns mit unserem Wohnwagengespann verirrt hatten.
Wir haben uns auch um eine Alternative in der näheren Umgebung bemüht, konnten aber leider nichts Passendes bekommen.

Gute Lage Saubere Anlage…

If you’re coming to EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand intent on keeping active, your backstroke and breaststroke will get plenty of practice with a visit to the Enkhuizer Zand swimming pool (10 minutes’ drive). Monkey-style exercise is on the menu at the Streekbos tree climbing park (five minutes), which has 400 metres of treetop obstacles and zipwires to get you swiftly back to ground. One excellent way to connect with nature is on the barefoot walking trail at Bovenkarspel (five minutes) – no shoes, please. As for historic outings instead, head for Hoorn (20 minutes), a harbour town with museums and steam train rides. Zuiderzee Museum (20 minutes) will let you in on the area’s heritage and maritime history too. Here’s a couple of activities for your tastebuds – digging through Alkmaar’s cheese market (45 minutes) or comparing blonde, double, triple and pale ales in the brewery in Medemblik (20 minutes). Nearby Radboud Castle looks over the town’s harbour and explorers can witness medieval demos. Closer to base, Sprookjeswonderland amusement park (10 minutes’ walk) is a family-friendly place with a fairytale theme and petting zoo.
