Might you fancy spotting roe deer and wild horses as you walk? Or encountering bunnies bounding around near your pitch? Or spending time down on the farm, feeding the goats and chickens? Yup, if you (and/or your accompanying small sorts) like getting up close to nature you’ll have a blast at Vakantiepark De Reebok, three kilometres from the town of Oisterwijk.
Surrounded by woods and heathland in the De Kampina nature reserve, this family-friendly site is close to lots of walking and bike trails (with bike hire available on site), and also well placed for visits to the Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park, the town of ’s-Hertogenbosch and Efteling theme park, all of which are within a half-hour drive.
Sticking around on site for a while is a pretty good option, too – there are games of football, table tennis and pétanque to play, a huge jumping pillow to bounce about on and an excellent playground. Swing by in the school holidays for kids’ activities and family-friendly evening ents run by the tiptop team of Toppers.

Llocs d'interès
This is a great place to be if you fancy stretching the old legs on a walk or bike ride. Bikes are available to hire on site and there’s a lengthy network of trails in the surrounding De Kampina nature reserve, including some that are suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Further trails can be tramped up at the Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park, a 45-minute cycle from the site.
For city wanderings, head over to the art galleries of ’s-Hertogenbosch (including a fab place celebrating the works of local lad Hieronymus Bosch) or go in search of sippage at the Koningshoeven Trappist brewery in Tilburg, 15 minutes’ drive away.
For small-folk-pleasing days out, pack everyone into the car and take the 20-minute drive to the Beekse Bergen amusement park, or the half-hour journey to fab fantasy-themed Efteling.
