On your left – a lake. On your right – another lake. And here in the middle is KlüthseeCamp & Seeblick, a spacious and well-equipped holiday park that blends in beautifully with its natural surroundings. This Schleswig-Holstein holiday park is in an enviable position indeed, sandwiched between the Klüthsee and the Großer Segeberger See, on the edge of the Holsteinische Schweiz nature area and a short walk from the facilities of Klein Rönnau . There’s plenty of space on site, with guests staying on large marked-out grass pitches dotted with trees and hedges (you can choose from the various sunny and shaded spots when you arrive). Facilities here cover everything you’d want from a modern holiday park, including electricity and water connections, drinking water taps and a bathroom block with showers, toilets, disabled facilities and a baby bathroom. You’ll also be able to access the internet from the reception area. There’s plenty happening on the leisure front, too – the park has playgrounds, sports fields, a bouncy castle and miniature golf to keep the kids busy, and in the summer there are various kids’ and teens’ activities to join in with. When it’s time to cool off, have a dip in the outdoor pool or in the fresh water of the lake beach. After hours, there are often dances and kids’ discos on summer evenings. As for food, well, you shouldn’t go hungry here – the site has a lovely lakeside restaurant serving up meals, drinks and cakes on the pretty terrace (try the suckling pig if it’s on the menu – it’s hugely popular, and rightly so…) There’s also a smaller snack bar with a beer garden, and a shop selling fresh rolls, cold meats, ice creams and takeaway coffees.

Em va agradar: Dat men ons netjes naar de plek brachten. De vlakke plaatsen.

No em va agradar: De plek die we kregen samen met nog 5 andere voor 1 nacht geen probleem . Stonden veel te dicht op elkaar.

Em va agradar: Dieser, mitten in der Natur gelegener, Campingplatz ist schön ruhig und sauber. Wir haben uns ein eigenes Bild, trotz negativen Bewertungen, gemacht. Ja,die Bäder sind alt. Aber sie sind zu jeder Zeit sauber. Der Spielplatz ist super und das Essen auf dem Platz hat jeden von uns geschmeckt.

Em va agradar: En dejlig campingplads. Familievenlig. Tæt på vand hvor du kan bade og sejle på egen kajak. Vores teenage dreng nød det at gå lange ture i området. Faciliteterne var fine. Brug af badefaciliteter var inde i prisen. En lille pool på stedet som vi ikke prøvede. 30 minutters kørsel fra Lubeck. En lille by tæt på hvor der findes restauranter, indkøb og flere. Jeg kan varmt anbefale denne campingplads

Em va agradar: Great site, close to a lovely lake with a little beach that we paddleboarded on and swam in. There is a great walk around the lake to the town. The restaurant on site does fantastic food and not too pricey, the shop is well stocked. Ignore the negative comments about the toilets and showers. Yes they are a little dated however they are clean and the showers are great the push button lasts a long enough time and the water is hot. The pitches are massive and you are able to put your set up however you like. The amount of free electric that you get per night should he sufficient but will depend on what you run.

Em va agradar: Lovely quiet site. Our pitch as a good size with electric and water. Shower block was well maintained & clean. There was a shop onsite but we never went in Wild Bunnies running everywhere was a massive bonus ...we love wildlife so this made it even better.

Want to see some more of your stunning surroundings? You can set off on several miles of walking/bike paths directly from the site, taking you through the classic Holstein landscapes of meadows and forests, or follow a gorgeous circular route all the way around Großer Segeberger See. Looking a little further afield, you may like to meet the inhabitants of Wildlife Park Eekholt (half an hour’s drive), follow wildlife trails at ErlebnisWald Trappenkamp (20 minutes) or venture into the dark to learn about bats at Noctalis (10 minutes). Or perhaps you’d like to head to the coast for the rides of HansaPark (half an hour) or a day on fabulous Fehmarn island (an hour)? City days are close by, too – take your sweet tooth to the ‘marzipan city’ of Lübeck (half an hour) or head to Hamburg (an hour) to wander through the Warehouse District and visit the many museums.
