Here’s a rather brilliant Bavaria location that’s got a lot going for it. Campingpark Nabburg is surrounded by countryside views and yet it’s easily accessed from the A93 motorway. It’s also just on the edge of the village of Perschen (putting a small supermarket about 10 minutes’ walk away) and five minutes’ drive from the medieval town of Nabburg. As it happens, you don’t even have to drive to reach the town, as there’s a path running along the banks of the Naab river, giving you the option of a half-hour walk instead. The riverside path is also a good option for a bike ride, since it is largely segregated from the road by a grassy bank, and therefore fairly safe for family cycling; electric bikes can be hired from the site. Of course, before you manage to get the kids on two wheels, you may have to fish them out of the outdoor pool right next door to the site. There’s an additional fee for this, but it’s a nicely set up place with a waterslide, massage jets and a bubble pool among other features. Miniature golf, volleyball and lawn chess are among the other ways to entertain yourselves in the pool complex. There is also a play area with a sandpit on site or bookable tennis courts about five minutes’ walk away from base for active holiday pursuits. Also next door to the site is an Italian restaurant serving pasta dishes and pizza, plus local schnitzels, for handy eats. There are more dining options in Nabburg, and you’re welcome to bring a barbecue if you’d rather do your own cooking. Handily, the site runs a bread service too.

Aquest càmping ben cuidat té una ubicació fantàstica vora una piscina exterior climatitzada, parc infantil i restaurant italià. Les instal·lacions de dutxa netes i modernes van ser molt aplaudides, així com l'espai per a caravanes. El check-in online va ser eficient, tot i que alguns el van trobar impersonal i amb Wi-Fi irregular. La majoria va gaudir d'una estada tranquil·la, tot i que hi ha soroll de carretera i insectes.

Em va agradar Schön gelegener Campingpark, einfaches Check In und Check Out, große Stellfläche, saubere Sanitäranlagen. Gute Waschmaschinen und Trockner.

No em va agradar Leider nur 2 Abspühlbecken mit Warmwasser. Die Mülltrennung ist wie auf fast allen Campingplätzen ein Problem.

Em va agradar Sehr überschaubares und einfaches einchecken.
Plätze für eine Übernachtung ausreichend groß.
Sehr gut gut ist das am Platz befindliche Restaurant und die Nähe des Freibades.

No em va agradar Es wäre gut, wenn man bei der Buchung einen Platz wählen könnte.

Abwaschplätze im Sanitärgebäude nicht sehr sauber.

Em va agradar Unser Aufenthalt im Campingpark Nabburg war rundum gelungen. Besonders als Familie mit Kleinkind können wir den Campingplatz absolut empfehlen. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und familienfreundlich. Man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf eine entspannte Atmosphäre gelegt wird.

Für Kinder gibt es viel Platz zum Spielen und Entdecken. Gleichzeitig ist der Platz angenehm ruhig und sicher. Besonders schön fanden wir die großzügigen Stellplätze und die sauberen Sanitäranlagen. Mit kleinem Kind ist das einfach Gold wert. Auch das Personal war immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert.

Die Umgebung eignet sich perfekt für Spaziergänge, kleine Ausflüge und entspannte Tage in der Natur. Trotz vieler Familien hatten wir nie das Gefühl von Hektik oder Lärm. Genau die richtige Mischung aus Erholung und kinderfreundlichem Camping.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung für Familien mit kleinen Kindern.

Em va agradar Spacious pitch. Dog friendly. Nice quiet village. Had to call emergency number as arrived on a Sunday - they were helpful but there was also nobody on site at all to help with anything we needed. Red light on site so no light pollution so the starry sky looked amazing.

No em va agradar Shower stays on for about 7 seconds at time only ( but free- the only thing that is!) Chargecard system works well but you have to pay for everything on top of the pitch which was approx £30 for 1 night. Washing machine is €4, electric charged in €10 increments, cost to empty sanitary cassette. Pool not in use and building works everywhere

Em va agradar Alles gut gewesen, gern wieder, dann auch für länger. Haus war schon vorgeheizt und wunderbar warm gewesen, aussen hatte es frostige -7 Grad.

Em va agradar Het restaurant wat naast de camping was.

No em va agradar Het was onduidelijk waar je met je tent moest staan. Er was namelijk geen receptie aanwezig en als je in het donker aan komt, is niet zichtbaar waar het veld is.

A walk along the river to Nabburg is a nice way to get to know your surroundings, but if you turn in the other direction you can walk to the Freilandmuseum Oberpfalz in around half an hour (or drive it in five minutes). This open-air museum has plenty to see, including farm animals and historic buildings, and a programme of kid-friendly activities such as crafts and archery sessions. There are several nice walking routes to try out nearby, and there’s also a lovely chance to see the scenery from above at Aussichtsturm auf dem Kulm (10 minutes’ drive), a 20-metre-high observation tower with great views. Erlebnisholzkugel (20 minutes), ‘the world’s largest adventure ball’ is another place with fine views, this time of the Steinberger See. For a taste of city life, head to Regensburg (40 minutes) to wander through its medieval centre, cross the 16-arched stone bridge across the Danube and visit St Peter Cathedral and House of Bavarian History museum. If you’d rather stick to natural settings, try taking the kids to splash about at the water playground Erlebnispark Wasser-Fisch-Natur (20 minutes).
