Afegiu les dades de la vostra empresaSet on the exclusive Côte d’Azur near historic Fréjus, Au Paradis des Campeurs holiday park is just outside the village of Les Issambres, with easy access to smart enclaves including Sainte-Maxime (20 minutes’ drive) and Saint-Tropez (15 minutes by ferry) as well as other flagship villages and attractions in Provence.
Smart places to visit are great, but this this family-friendly spot goes one better: it has direct access to Plage de la Gaillarde, one of the prettiest beaches in a region famous for its gorgeous beaches, and is backed by the Massif des Maures forest, an open space that's just waiting to be explored on foot or by mountain bike (hire one on site if you’ve left yours at home).
Everything is geared towards fun-filled and relaxing family holidays, with much to keep kids of all ages entertained. Clubs with fun games and activities for the toddlers, picnics on the beach for teens, and volleyball sessions on the sand are just some of the ways your offspring are taken care of.
During high season life on site is very chilled, drifting from the beach to the restaurant for alfresco pizzas and on to the bar for a nip of pastis. In fact, there’s no real need to cook at all, as baguettes and croissants are always available for breakfast and the snack bar is open all day long to keep hunger attacks at bay.
Top up supplies (including fresh fruit and veg) from the site store, keep everybody (and everything) clean in the shower and launderette – and don’t forget that the friendly reception staff are on hand to answer any queries.

Get active on the water with paddleboard and canoe hire during summer, or rent a speedboat and explore beaches along the coastline. Pedal or stroll along the coastal footpath (once used by police to catch smugglers) for views over the Med; the Massif de l’Esterel (40 minutes) is another popular spot for hikers, with paths among its striking red cliffs.
Turning inland, explore the mountain trails in the Massif des Maures (45 minutes) by bike; and walk, cycle or drive through the spectacular Verdon Gorge (a two-hour round trip). See it from another perspective kayaking down the river or go canyoning with a guide.
Mixing the pace up a bit, meander around the medieval village of Roquebrune-sur-Argens (20 minutes), backed by its famous red rock or take a trip to Saint-Tropez (15 minutes by ferry from Sainte-Maxime) for a wander among the super-yachts in the marina. The kids might prefer a day on the floating inflatable courses the Waterworld Lac de la Gaudrade (25 minutes), or shooting down water rides at Aqualand Sainte-Maxime (half an hour).
