On one side, a gorgeous view of river and forest; on the other, the edge of the town of Granges-Aumontzey. And here in the middle, the five acres of well-tended grounds that make up Camping Pré Vologne… it all adds up to a most attractive and convenient location for a holiday in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park. This location means that you’ll be in a peaceful and scenic spot with lots of shaded space in which to relax, and access to the Vologne river for swimming or fishing. These are the kind of surroundings that might make you believe you’re right out in the deepest countryside, but in fact you’ll be less than 500 metres from the centre of Granges-Aumontzey, putting shops, bakeries, restaurants and a supermarket within about five minutes’ walk. Don’t fancy even strolling that far? Handily there’s also a snack bar on site, and you can buy ice creams and drinks at reception. There’s also a pétanque court and a ping pong table to help you work up an appetite, along with board games for those quieter moments. If you need a little extra help to relax, ask on site about booking massages to get some stress out of your shoulders. This is a properly family-oriented site with all the essential facilities you might expect: a launderette, a washing-up area, a wifi service and bathrooms including accessible facilities, a parent/child bathroom and baby-changing facilities.

  • Es recomana als hostes portar una llanterna de bona qualitat, ja que algunes parts de l'establiment no estan ben il·luminades.

Em va agradar Everything! Beautiful, peaceful site, a wonderful friendly welcome, immaculate facilities, everything has been so carefully thought through even really clear directions to collect fresh baguette in the morning. The highlight for us was the refreshing river dips!!
We can't thank the hosts enough for such a wonderful experience!

The site manager was very nice and helpful on our second day it was sweltering hot and she moved us to a shaded pitch because of our dogs

A copy of a lsite map on arrival would be very useful highlighting where everything is

Em va agradar Sehr freundliche Begrüßung, alles ist vorhanden und der Platz ist ruhig.
Der Ort an sich ist nicht sehenswert, bietet aber eine gute Basis um von hier Ausflüge und Touren zu planen.

No em va agradar Der Platz liegt zwar im Grünen, ist aber von allen Seiten durch Privatgrundstücke begrenzt. Somit muss man 2-3 km Umweg in Kauf nehmen, bis man tatsächlich einen Fuß in den Wald setzen kann.

Em va agradar Le lieu est bucolique et très paisible. Idéal pour les personnes qui souhaitent être au calme et en pleine nature.
Le personnel est très sympathique.
Nous avons pu choisir notre emplacement. Il était spacieux, plat et avec une petite fontaine à côté. C'est un endroit ressourçant.

No em va agradar Nous sommes arrivés à l'ouverture de la saison et tous les emplacements n'étaient pas prêts. Par exemple, notre borne électrique ne fonctionnait pas mais nous avons pu sans souci utiliser une autre borne électrique à proximité.
Les installations sanitaires sont vétustes mais propres et fonctionnelles.

As you might expect from a location within the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park, there are lots of places to get out for a walk around here, whether you fancy a gentle stroll or a more challenging hike. Hohneck mountain (40 minutes’ drive) is a particularly good place for scenic views, as are the trails around Vervezelle (20 minutes). This area is well known for its water features too, so set off for hikes around lakes like Lac de Gerardmer (15 minutes) and Lac de Longemer (20 minutes) or seek out waterfalls including Pont Des Fées (15 minutes), Cascades du Tendon (20 minutes), Saut du Bouchot (half an hour) and Cascade de la Pissoire (half an hour). For different days out, head to the treetop trails of Acro-Sphère (20 minutes) or stick to terra firma for a stroll around the flower-filled Garden Berchigranges (10 minutes). If you’ve got the kids with you (or in fact, even if you don’t) you may like to spend a day at Fraispertuis theme park (half an hour), which is full of attractions for all ages, from gentle rides for toddlers to fast-paced rollercoasters for grown-up thrill seekers.
