Domaine Résidentiel de Plein Air Le Castellas

Around 14km of sandy sandy beaches and their adjoining fishing villages are in the area around Domaine Résidentiel de Plein Air Le Castellas. Lake Thau, Canal du Midi and the nature attractions of the Camargue are all within a short drive. Sète has been called 'the most fascinating small town on the French Mediterranean coast' and is worth at least a day to see its canals, the Canal Royale and the views from Mont Saint Clair lighthouse. Sampling seafood and mussels at a canalside restaurant is also a must. If more seafood is required (always an option in la belle France), get theeself to Bouzigues, the so-called oyster capital of Europe; oysters and mussels have been farmed here since the time of the Greeks. Or you could wander the pine forest of Pierre Blanches and the small medieval villages of Loupian or Vic la Gardiole and Frontignan, visit the Môle Saint Louis or the old Roman aqueduct the Pont du Gard, or make things a bit busier with day trips to Montpellier and Carcassonne.
