Em va agradar: Everything! Well laid out and beautifully kept site. Great location with local bakery and supermarket within easy walking distance.

Em va agradar: Only a couple of hours from euro tunnel, so ideal if travelling south ( we were heading to Spain). Location had easy access on foot from site to town, large private grass pitch and clean facilities and good showers. Owner was friendly and spoke decent English. Wi-Fi is slow but I could download my map for onward journey if I stood near reception, so no problem.

No em va agradar: Nothing to dislike, just be prepared it is France so bring your toilet roll and don’t expect a toilet seat.

Em va agradar: The town is very nice and access to Avenue Vert for cycling is excellent. The campsite owners are very friendly and welcoming. The facilities are ok and the pitches are huge with hedge separating them. We have come back to the site from staying here last year so it must be good.

Em va agradar: Vriendelijk ontvangst. Alle nodige informatie verkregen bij ontvangst . Rustige camping. Ideaal gelegen ( op wandel afstand van de bakker / winkel / bezienswaardigheden )

No em va agradar: Zittoilet zonder bril ( niet handig voor mensen die moeite hebben om te hurken ) Watervoorziening voor caravan is aan het wc gebouw ( voor bepaalde pitches is de afstand te groot om met een tuinslang te doen, best bidons meebrengen )

Em va agradar: Size of pitch with hedges either side & had tree above. Walk into local town & close to supermarket (just short of 1 mile). Good selection of local produce in shops. Great bread & cake shops. Good walks or trail runs - forest close by. Excellent WW2 French resistance museum in town (opens in afternoon). The facilities are clean though basic. The number of showers is limited & though not a problem for us as it was late season I suspect may be challenging in busy times (plus across road from site there is an aire & you can pay to use facilities.

No em va agradar: Was bit surprised there being no toilet paper provided at campsite - not a complaint just been useful to know before we arrived though we did have our own supply from motorhome.

Del gerent: Bonjour Ne soyer pas surpris par l'absence de papier dans les toilettes .les camping sont classé comme les hôtel avec des Etoiles ,et donc les prestations augmentes avec les étoiles ainsi que les prix ,et pour information nous disposons de 2 blocs sanitaire soit un total de 11 douches et qui ne sont pas autorisé au camping car de l'aire de service qui ce trouve de l'autre coté de la rue nous vous remercions pour votre note et a bientôt

Em va agradar: Pitches privately hedged. Location to village. Easy check in. Reasonably priced.

Em va agradar: Second review Great host welcomed us back. Facilities good and clean Site was a lot quieter as the season was coming to an end. Found the Aldi close by which we didn't previously. Site was quiet, and nice to hear the church bells again. Forges Les Eaux is beautiful and well worth a walk around.

Del gerent: je suis surpris que vous n'ayez pas trouvez le parc au bout du camping qui est également le passage pour le centre ville ,je vous est demandé de ne pas promener votre chien sur les emplacements ( libre ou pas) et l'aire de jeu enfant afin de de respecter les autres campeurs et que 2 possibilité sont a votre disposition le parc ou les trottoirs en herbe. Je ne m'attendais pas a une meilleur note de votre part ,mais j'en assume les conséquences du fait de ma réflexion sur votre manque de respect a laisser votre chien aller et venir sur les emplacement a la nuit tombé (ce qui peut présagé au nom ramassage de ses excrément.

Em va agradar: We were heading south and this was great location for our first night, approx 2 hours from the tunnel. Venue is great on the edge of a village, is near a road but this didn't bother us. Easy walk through the campsite into the village. Hearing the church bells which reminded me of times gone by...no longer hear them here in the UK. Facilities are good. Pitches are large and bordered by hedges, which gave good privacy. We were under an oak tree which did mean we benefitted from the occasional acorn dropping on us on windy days! Host was great, couldn't do enough for us, and did speak enough English, coupled to my poor French, for us to get by!

No em va agradar: Nothing. (NB suggest you take all the Anglophile reviews with a pinch of salt... eg it is rare to find toilet seats in France, but you do understand the hygiene perspective, and get used to it pretty quickly)
