Sauna, spa, archery… you'll barely want to leave Domaine Riva Bella Naturiste, for there's enough to do on site to keep all sorts absorbed for quite some time…
It's all next to a naturist beach, a short drive from the seaside town of Aléria and on the edge of the Terrenzana saltwater lagoon, with a vast stretch of wilderness on one side and the sandy beaches and clear waters of the Mediterranean on the other. There's loads to do on and off water here, such as windsurf, catamaran and canoe rental facilities; archery, yoga and (still getting started…) a llama and donkey zoo where the kids can help with feeding.
And… the site also has a thalassotherapy spa with a hammam, whirlpool baths, a seawater therapy pool, a sauna, a Jacuzzi and a long list of massage and beauty treatments… and a games room and library with books, TV, billiards and board games. Live music and dance evenings are held in summer at the bar-restaurant, which dishes up local specialities and drinks alongside spectacular sea views from its terrace.
Sports options are fully sorted at the ping pong tables and courts for volleyball, pétanque and tennis, and there's a roomy playground too with plenty of kit. Car, mountain bike and fridge rental can all be arranged at reception, open from morning to night seven days a week.
The convenience store sells everything from freshly baked bread and pastries to newspapers, ice and gas cylinders; shops and museums are at nearby Aléria, as well as a range of outdoor activities including riding, sailing, hiking and more.

Many more spectacular beaches are within easy reach of the site: Corsica has over 200, covering around 1,000 kilometres of coast. Aléria, the most easterly point of Metropolitan France, is five kilometres away.
For mountains, hills and inland hiking, the Corsica Regional Nature Park (covering about 40 per cent of the island) has several well-known trails to tread, including the GR 20 across the island, coastal walks, and the Mare e Monti connecting Cargèse and Calenzana.
This is also an island of archaeological sites and many museums: try the Museum of Corsica at the commune of Corte; the Musée de Bastia, and two at Ajaccio (the Musée Fesch museum of fine arts and Maison Bonaparte, based in the island house of Napoleon B).
Day trip options include the villages of La Porta and Morosaglia, 52 and 66 kilometres away respectively.
