Finistère-bound families: welcome to Sandaya Camping Les 2 Fontaines.
This is a watery site (quite appropriately as c'est Bretagne) and has a waterpark with indoor and outdoor pools, one three-laned waterslide, an S-shaped waterslide and a toddlers' slide: we suspect that fun here is guaranteed.
There's also a sports court and activities organised during the summer by the multilingual team, such as sports tournaments, pétanque competitions, karaoke nights, disco dance and quiz nights. If you're happy paying a little extra, activities like pony rides, archery and scuba diving lessons are available too.
And – deux things we very much like – Camping Les 2 Fontaines has a mini farm to amuse the kids, and massages and beauty treatments to soothe the grownups. A six-hole golf course is on site for teeing-off types, along with playgrounds and a skateboard park; bikes and inline skates can be hired in reception.
Amenities include laundry facilities, toilets and showers, washing-up areas and a motorhome service point. A bar-restaurant with takeaway service is also on site.

Beautiful beautiful Brittany is a place of long sandy beaches, rockpools, hidden coves and heaps of other bits and bobs that are firm faves with families and kids. Viewsome villages, old towns, tasty eats and splendid countryside are all around too.
Around Finistère and south Bretagne, have days out at the likes of Kerascoet, Pont-Aven, the Pointe du Raz, ancient Concarneau, the Glénan Islands, Eckmühl lighthouse and the thermal baths and thalassotherapy of seaside resort Bénodet.
Or stick close to coast: Finistère's a coastal region with around 1250km of shore and beaches to tramp: that sounds rather fun too.
